Re: The Book of Mojo
There was an episode in Wolverine and the X-men with him that was pretty good if I remember correctly.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Mojo
He was kind of teased him as a background villain, and only made him the main villain for a couple, but he was really cool! He was ddisgusting and sleazy, and in hindsight did seem like a parody of a coked up TV producer with his hyperactive talk about rating.

Re: The Book of Mojo
You can count me among the "not a fan of Mojo" crowd, actually. I feel like he's way too on-the-nose as a parody, unsubtle and goofy, and WAY out of tone with even the weirdest X-Men stuff.
I mean, I can stomach a LOT of funkiness in my comics, but the whole Mojoverse is... yeah, not for me. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Mojo
Was mojo created around the 80's or 90's? He seems like he would be more relevant for that time period. Plus nothing in pop culture was very subtle in that time period.

Re: The Book of Mojo
He's too weird to be a main X-Men villain, but he has his place in the right kind of story. He pops up a time or two in Exiles to pretty good effect. He also shows up in Astonishing Spider-Man/Wolverine, which was a lot of fun.

Re: The Book of Mojo
Mojo is very 2000AD. He would fit in perfectly there.

Re: The Book of Mojo
Yes, he actually ties in directly with the origins of both Longshot and Shatterstar, both of whom have very 90's designs to them.
