Hello everyone! I was digging through Hasbro and WotC's old files and stuff when I discovered a list of all of the Heroscape pronunciations. I added some things and rearranged a bit, but that is all. A great reference tool for not being made a fool and avoiding arguments, so without further ado...

It is very interesting but I wonder why Hasbro did not keep the original pronunciation of some characters names. For example: in Japanese the word Ashigaru is pronounced \ah-shee-gah-RUE\.

The Japanese have distinct pronunciation of all there letter combinations. Almost all Japanese words are broken down into 1-3 letter syllables.
I always cringe when I hear people pronounce Karaoke as carry-oaky instead of kah row kee.

Side note ...I have been mispronouncing about half the units
