Character Bio - Parallax is an Entity that is the physical manifestation of Fear and the power source for the Sinestro Corps and Yellow Power rings. Career highlights include taking over Hal Jordan's body using him to genocide the Green Lantern Corps and almost wipe out time itself, taking over Kyle Rayner, and just generally being a nasty creature.

• Base Clarification: Parallax is a double-spaced figure.
• Parallax is an Event Hero and follows Event Hero rules.
• When Parallax is placed on a card with Parasitic Possession, the chosen figure is not considered Parallax's Host until Parallax moves a yellow Battery Marker to its card. So keep in mind that Fight Against Fear won't activate until that happens!

PARASITIC POSSESSION
Start the game with 6 yellow Battery Markers on this card. Before placing Order Markers at the start of a round, you may choose a Unique or Event Hero and place Parallax's figure on the chosen Hero's card. A Hero with Parallax and any number of yellow Battery Markers on its card is considered Parallax's Host.

FEAR CASTING
Before taking a turn with Parallax, you may move a yellow Battery Marker on this card to any card it occupies, to a maximum of 4 yellow Battery Markers there. If Parallax’s Host is not a Yellow Lantern and has 4 or more yellow Battery Markers on its card, remove any Order Markers on its card and take control of that Hero and its card for as long as it is Parallax's Host.

FIGHT AGAINST FEAR
After Parallax or his Host takes a turn, if its Host is not a Yellow Lantern, roll an unblockable attack die against its Host. If you do not roll a skull, remove a yellow Battery Marker from the Host's card. If Parallax's Host is destroyed or is no longer considered its Host, remove all your Order Markers from the Host's card, and immediately place Parallax on any empty spaces within 3 spaces of the space its Host last occupied.

He's cool.

So just thinking of options:

- Place him on one of your figures, now they're a YL and get YL synergies (bonding with Sinestro Corps Soldiers, essentially)
- Place him on one of your YLs, they now have six extra battery markers to pull from
- Place him on an opponent's figure, slowly take over

Lots of angles to come at him from, but I'm interested in seeing how he plays.

Verify that the listed size and height are accurate. Standing the mini up next to a stack of tiles, and a few other minis of various sizes, is encouraged.

Unknown, unfortunately. The mini may be a real sticking point on this one.

They are and they do.

New Powers - Names
Verify that any new powers are not using power names identical to, or very similar to, pre-existing powers. Verify that any new powers are actually new and not old powers with new names.

I'm not seeing any problems. Some reused words, but not in the same combinations, and nothing feels out of the realm of where it should be. Fear Casting could interact with the Fearless personality somehow, but that seems like a needless addition, especially since his most iconic Host has the Fearless personality and wasn't able to resist.

New Powers - Effects
Verify that the effect and timing of all new powers is clear. Verify that any logical immunities, benefits, or weaknesses (whether those be necessary for thematic or mechanical reasons) are implemented: consider whether defensive powers that work against normal attacks should also work against special attacks, whether or not a power has an elemental component that some figures should resist, and whether or not unliving figures (such as Undead and Androids) should be affected.

See above for immunities/etc. Timing all seems good. Realizing I forgot to change away from the start zone placement after we discussed in LCW. I'll make that change next.

Reused Powers
Verify that the design is reusing powers in place of creating new ones, where reused powers could implement the same theme and mechanics with no differences or only trivial differences. Verify that any reused powers have the correct text.

No logical reuses here. Everything is weird and specific.

Power Level
Verify that the character's movement, attack, range, and defense (in conjunction with any special powers that enhance those stats) feel consistent with the capabilities of characters with analogous powers and abilities. Verify that the character falls into a similar point range to characters with comparative powers and abilities.

Stat line is pretty on par with our Event Heroes. The number of the Beast rears its head again. Life looks a tad low at a glance, but with how he plays, I think it works.
