I thought this was some of my son's best work so far, and shows marked improvement after very little time, as well as how easy speed paints and/or metallics w/a wash are to use. Particularly when you keep the color scheme simple.

Batch-painting this many figures took me longer than I expected. I was probably too meticulous about it, which is embarrassing considering how many mistakes I made. However, it was fun! And I'm super-pleased with the finished product.

I do see why people prefer Resin over PLA for printing figures (though these probably could have done at a higher resolution with more time) however, for most figures I think the PLA looks fine. At arm's distance most of the printing artifacts aren't noticeable, particularly when you're focusing on the game. I think they look great and I'm super excited to have them in my collection.
