Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
Yea, pretty sure revealed equals actually tipping it over on the card, but I will know shortly once I get back to transcribing the rules.

Sounds like a nice addition to the glossary.

Loving the soft synergies here and that this guy should make it into the Batman wave! C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
I think the main thing is allowing these guys to view the same Order Marker using their individual powers. If we make it that once an OM is viewed it becomes revealed, thus no longer considered “unrevealed”, eliminating it from being viewed by the others for their powers, I feel that may see them as not great together? Not sure, but that’s ultimately the importance of the distinction.

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
Viewed =/= revealed, IMO.

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
I am with Johnny in wondering about that verbiage but he nailed it when he says it an MTG thing that I am used to. I was thinking that revealing an OM only happened when you took your turn, as evidence by looking at an unrevealed here.

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
Revealing an Order Marker happens when you do it to take a turn or when a special power specifies that you "reveal" it. It doesn't happen when a special power specifies that you "view" it. Viewing is looking at it yourself and keeping it to yourself. Revealing it is moving it around so everyone can see it. Removing it is when it's no longer on the card.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
Revealing an Order Marker = tipping it over and making it unusable to take a turn (or do X OM stuff), right? If I reveal my opponent’s 2 OM, I’m assuming he can’t take his second turn.
Otherwise, could you use a power to reveal the 2 OM on your own Cap to get his boost, while still being able to take turn 2 with Cap. |

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
I don't think the tipping over action is necessary. You can't take turns with revealed Order Markers simply because revealing an Order Marker is a prerequisite to take a normal turn (i.e. one that doesn't come from a special power).
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
Looks like you reveal it and then lay it number side up on the card per rulebook 1.0 ar least.

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
So technically not the same but essentially so? Is there any situation where revealing would be different from tipping over?

Re: The Book of Detective Chimp (Breathing)
Cool. Didn't know it was specifically covered in the rulebook. Definitely different than viewing. Thanks!
