Here's an idea for bone claw Wolverine. I was thinking about how he heals better when his healing factor isn't weighed down by the adamantium and thought a slightly less offensive, but sturdier, harder to kill Wolverine would be interesting.
I initially just had the first part of Best There Is called Skewer. The second power is just to represent his even better senses when he is more feral, and to counter Mystique and Magneto. Class and Personality I went specifically for his character in the 90s when it was first revealed he had bone claws, since that's the only bone claw mini. Quote:

The coherent dialogue title clashes a bit aesthetically with this being a "Savage" Wolverine, IMO. I think you could easily change the title to have something to do with his savage nature, though. SAVAGE SURVIVOR?
It should be "inflicts" not "deals" in the first power. So what's the *theme* behind his being Immovable? A likely 5 heals a round on 7 Life is ... a ton. I'm not sure he needs the +1 Life on OG Wolverine if he's also getting +1 heal a round. OG Wolverine is already top level powerwise. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Go too "savage" though, and I think there's a danger of straying too far into Weapon X's territory. (Even though these are perhaps direct opposite versions of the character thematically.)

I'm just saying rename the power, not make the mechanics any different.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Yeah the theme of best there is doesn't fit with this version and the extra healing is too strong (1 more life than usual is good enough for him). I think I'll go with my original idea for the first power. And then maaybe give him double attack as well if four powers isn't crazy.

The idea was his senses are so good (even more heightened than typical Wolverine), he could kinda tell something was coming and dodge it, this might do it better as like a tuck and roll. He could do a lot of different things, I was mostly going for stuff that wouldn't feel weird all in one power. It could go a couple directions. I might've done a tracking power, but Avengers Wolvie does that. Possdibly something that leans into his animalisticness.

Something I noticed about the TB glyph, it has the "20, or higher" language, but not "1 or less." • 1, all figures within 3 spaces of the Glyph receive 6 wounds. Remove this Glyph. ... • 20 or higher, the Time Bomb has been deactivated. Remove this Glyph. I think it's been discussed before, might be something for the Rules Team to discuss, but I believe less than 1 would result in nothing happening. Maybe V for Vendetta should have "subtract up to 10 from one roll"? |
