Terrible review. He is not doing what we asked, in fact he is doing what we asked ERB guys to NOT do; try and rewrite the card in their own way. I am not happy with that response.

I think he brings up something to watch for though, in the initial playtest. Does the Chi power require too much brain strain to keep track of?
I'm guessing/hoping no, but it's hard to tell until he gets on the battlefield.

I don't think so, you will have the revealed X OM, you just have to remember if he healed or boosted himself that round which shouldn't be too hard.

I actually agree with him some, and said the same/similar thing a page or two back, but redesigning is our job, not the ERB's - or so we told them.

Regardless of who thought of it and what their role is, I agree with the change and think it's a good one. I must have missed your comment on this earlier Griff.

There is no way to remember if you healed or boosted his stats with a revealed X OM and I'd like to avoid having to remember it for the round. The impact on the design is minimal and it could help bring his cost down a tad too.

Other than Mutate, which I am not sure is correct (thought he does seem to be above human level lately), this write-up looks fantastic!

As far as Mutate goes, he has never been: bitten by a radioactive spider, been the focus of a gamma bomb, been the vessel of a demon spirit of vengeance, etc. The guy is like the fighters from Street Fighter who can harness their chi. I mean maybe lately he has grown (explains the recent white costume) but the iconic version is just a normal human B@d @$$ dude, like Punisher, except he IS the weapons cache.

Thanks. This was Hahma's write-up and I didn't question the Mutate for species so I couldn't say for sure. I'll try to look up some more info, but if anyone else knows Iron Fist feel free to chime in on this point.
