Re: The Book of The Tick
It seems the Comic version of the .pdf is getting a 404 error when I go to open it and print it. Is that happening to anyone else?

Re: The Book of The Tick
Yes. Got that one as well. Any idea why,
@tcglkn
?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of The Tick
Sweet. I was hoping it was something easy like that. Thanks for taking care of it.

Re: The Book of The Tick
Spoon! This was an easy repaint. I used some cut up zombie arms for the antennae from the Bag O' Zombies set (since I have so many leftover from painting zombies of morindan).
Also, the comic card for Tick is missing from the X-2 printer. I found the miniature card in there. |

Re: The Book of The Tick
Greenstuffed the whole head (including antennae). Went for an in between on the live action human/cartoony head (as his cartoon/comic eyes would normally be all the way at the top), so as to not throw him too far out of place in the realm of scape.

Love the open mouth look, that must have taken some time to sculpt.

Re: The Book of The Tick
It took roughly an hour. Greenstuff has a workable time of around 90 minutes and I do most of these (with the exception of Odin) in one go. I surrounded the head leaving the tip of the nose exposed for reference, got the chin where I wanted it. Cut the edges of where his skin shows, pressed the rest inwards (did the same for the teeth/mouth). Small dots for the ears worked into the head from the edges. Rectangles for the eyes pressed in between the eyes and eyebrows in an arch then worked in at the edges with a smaller indent surrounding where the mask outlines the actual eyes. All topped off with antennae made by rolling really small rods that I worked into the top of the head then zigzagged onto themselves. The small size of the mini may make many of these actions require more precision, but it also makes them take much less time. Similar actions performed on Arcadia Quest minis (for example) easily take me 4-10 times longer.
