Brooklyn seems to still struggle to maintain his cost and overall the Gargoyles struggle with offense. Japes and Bats suggested a small tweak to (hopefully) mitigate some of those struggles.

Change:
PROTECTIVE STRATEGIES
Before an allied Hero within 5 clear spaces rolls combat dice, you may reveal Order Marker X on this card to add 1 hit or block, or 2 blocks if that allied Hero is a Gargoyle.

to:
GARGOYLE STRATEGIES
Before Brooklyn or an allied Hero within 5 clear spaces rolls combat dice, you may reveal Order Marker X on this card. If you do, each time a Hero you control attacks or defends for the rest of the turn, you may add 1 block, as well as 1 hit if that figure is a Gargoyle.

Wouldn't it be 'or' or is their a gargoyle ability that wants both a block and a hit on the same roll?

Could be a thing to use at some point. One of those...if XXXX has more hits than the defender when defending... kind of things.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Also want it to read clearly that you can still use the block option of it's a Gargoyle.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
