ADVANCED SCIENCE SUPPORT
At the start of the game, place up to two Invention Equipment Glyphs of different types into a Glyph Pool, power-side up, and set them aside. Before moving normally with a Unique Kryptonian Hero, if it is adjacent to Hamilton, you may place a glyph from Hamilton's Glyph Pool on its card. If it is not adjacent to Hamilton, you may reveal an "X" Order Marker on that card to place a glyph from Hamilton's Glyph Pool on its card.

COUNTERMEASURE DEVELOPMENT
At the start of the game, choose an opponent’s figure to be Hamilton’s Subject. At the start of each round, you may roll the 20-sided die. Add X to your roll, where X is equal to the current round. If you roll 6 or higher, you may choose for all special powers on Hamilton's Subject's card to be negated during your turns until the end of the round. If you do, you cannot roll for this special power again this game.

Honestly I think the 'low d20 roll' and 'increasing boost' thing are at odds with each other here. Like, the mechanically interesting thing about the low d20 roll is that there's a chance that if you don't take the countermeasure when you've got it, there's a chance it might not be there later. But the escalating boost works against that.

I'd get it more if the d20 roll was higher or if the round boost wasn't there.

I could see upping the roll in some ways. Ideally I'd want it to feel like at least a 50/50 shot by round 5. So if that looks like 15 or higher plus the round number, or higher than that but you can roll each turn (thus more chances to hit the success), I'm fine going with whatever the consensus is.

Damage: EGlyphs were helpful, but not tremendously so. Round of no protection from Magenta would have been nicer had Guardian not been dropped.
Abilities: Chose Kryptonian Visor and Teleportation Belt

General Flow:
R1: Magenta is Subject. Hamilton gears up the team, with Superboy passing the Teleportation Belt to Guardian and later getting the Visor for himself.
R2: Kon gets a wound on Magenta with the visor. Glider knocks the visor away from Superboy.
R3: Cold goes down (no EGlyph help this round)
R4: Magenta is neutralized (18+4 rolled). Glider takes out Guardian. Kon only manages to get 1 wound on Magenta in the round.
R5: Kon drops Magenta, then whiffs and dies to Heatwave.
R6: Heatwave kills Hamilton.
General thoughts: Hmm. He’s helpful, but I think lack of bonding is what really hurt the team this game. Lots of Special Attacks in the Rogues and guaranteed at least 1 double turn as long as Cold/Glider were around was tough to keep up with, especially with Magenta hitting rolls at the right times.
Unit Summary:
R1 T2: Guardian keeps up with Kon with the belt.
R2 T1: Kon does a wound with the visor.
R2 T2: Guardian pops over to Magenta with the belt, but is thrown.
R4 T1: Kon tries to take out Heatwave (who has no Magenta protection) to mess up OMs, but only gets 1 hit.
R4 T3: Kon hits Magenta for one.

R1: Raven is Subject. Lois is downed this round, but Supes one-shots Starfire and puts 3 on Nightwing when he whiffs.
R2: Chooses this round to auto negate Raven. Hamilton sends the Kryptonian Visor Superman’s way, and he uses it to kill Nightwing. Superman gets 3 wounds on Raven this round.
R3: Raven killed this round.
General thoughts: Hamilton wasn’t tremendously necessary here wow. Pretty sure this was game over when Starfire was one shot, but seemed worth playing out. Full round negation of Magical Defense feels pretty nasty, especially once we throw in bonding stuff. Probably better to drop it to a single turn.
Unit Summary:
R2: Countermeasures against Raven activated.
R2 T1: Sends Visor to Kal, who uses it to finish Nightwing.

General Flow:
R1: Batroc is the Subject. Anti Kryptonite suit and Kryptonian Visor chosen.
R2: Hamilton sends the visor to Jon, but the kid whiffs the roll on Ivy. Jon puts 1 on Ivy on turn 2. Turn 3 Jon barely makes the roll (12+4-1=16). Ivy’s death drops Kryptonite out to Rhino, who still fails to wound Kal.
R3: Jon takes a wound from Rhino, sending the visor flying. Hamilton sends the Anti-Kryptonite suit to Kal. Batroc gets dropped. Lex runs up and shoots and kills the Cat.
R4: Lex gets a wound on Kal and kills Jon, but is then one-shot by the very angry Superdad.
General thoughts: Lack of range here from most things probably made this a weird fight. Couldn’t really exploit Heroic Duty much, which I probably needed to steer into more on the part of the villains. Definitely feel like 1 turn negation is the way to go here really, as its too swingy in its effectiveness (negate Magenta for a round is way less massive compared to like negating Invisible Woman/Acrobatic Mastery/Magical Defense for a whole round.
Unit Summary:
R2 T1: Visor goes out to Jon, who does 2 wounds with it this round.
R3 T1: Anti-Kryptonite suit goes to Kal.

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Superman and friends win. Kal with 4 wounds, Hamilton and Kelex unwounded.

R1: Brainiac is the target. Visor and Suit chosen. Not much this round.
R2: Supes loses the X Marker, cutting off Hamilton.
R3: Countermeasures triggered, but Kon can’t do much with it in the turn it is given, and is killed by rounds end.
R4: Grodd and Braniac make their way through the foes.
R5: Hamilton is the last to fall.
General thoughts: This was a slaughter. Cheetah was rolling so viciously on attack that it was hard for anything to stand up. Does make me feel better about the full round negation (which may not be as bad as I’m thinking. Willing to give it a shot now after this.

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Injustice League wins. 1 marker left on unwounded Lex, Grodd unwounded, 1 marker left. Brainiac with 3 wounds.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I generally like how he’s playing. 60 does feel about right here, as what he can offer is nice, but generally feels relatively niche. Countermeasure is probably the wackiest thing here, and even then can still wind up being not great if you’ve not got the firepower to work with it. Game 1 was the D20 roll, moved it to auto success after that. Game 4 I tried it at only 1 turn, but honestly I don’t think it would have helped that much if it had been all round.
