Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
Says the guy from Texas, home of possibly the most often parodied American accent...
~Lazy Orang, wishing for people to remember that there is more than one British accent... having been exposed to American media, it sometimes seems that you believe there is only 'posh' and 'Dick van Dyke style cockney'. |

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
Obviously, I was kidding, Lazy. I was born in Amish country, moved to Alabama at the age of 6, and grew up there and in Texas. I am well aware there are various American accents. The worst is the Minnesota/Wisconsin area where they have adopted a sort of Canadian accent and pronounce words like flag and bag, fleg and beg.
Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. Rocking the Michigan monotone with random y'alls thrown in to reflect my sweet home Alabama.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
Other than maybe saying Melk instead of Milk, and Florda instead of Florida, we're a pretty bland accent (assuming you're not a Yooper, of course).

Re: Out-there Heaven (Movie, TV, and Video Game Characters)
My accent's probably pretty nondescript - you can tell I'm English, but I think you'd struggle to pinpoint a region.
My favourite accent's probably Lancashire - it sounds so silly. Just find some examples online, see what I'm talking about. |
