When moving up or down levels of terrain, an Imperium Symbiote may triple its height.

HOST-JUMPING 14
When an Imperium Symbiote is destroyed, before removing it from the battlefield, choose an enemy Common or Unique figure within 3 clear sight spaces that is not an Android, Construct, or Symbiote and roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 14 or higher and the chosen figure is a Common or Squad figure, the Imperium Symbiote is not destroyed. Destroy the chosen figure instead and replace it with the Imperium Symbiote. If you roll 14 or higher and the chosen figure is a Unique Hero, place that Imperium Symbiote on that Hero's Army Card. A Unique Hero with an Imperium Symbiote on its card has the species of Symbiote in addition to what is listed on its card, and gains the Super Strength special power.

SYMBIOTE HIVEMIND
After revealing an Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with the Imperium Symbiotes, you may do one of the following:
-move any two Symbiotes you control that have not moved this turn.
-attack with any one Symbiote you control that has not attacked this turn.
-take temporary control of an enemy Hero with an Imperium Symbiote on its card and take an immediate turn with that Hero.

SUPER STRENGTH

Bio - The symbiotes were originally created by the elder god Knull to drag the universe back into the void, and they conquered entire civilizations under his banner. But when Knull was defeated by Thor and his connection to the symbiotes was severed, they rebelled. They imprisoned Knull and formed a benevolent organization known as the Agents of the Cosmos.

Unfortunately for the cosmos, bonding with a malevolent host could easily cause a symbiote to return to its old ways. Many symbiotes regressed and reproduced, quickly out-numbering the good-natured symbiotes. This aggressive strand recreated Knull's Symbiote Imperium and became feared throughout the galaxy. The Imperium is known to overrun entire civilizations, use their populace as host bodies, and steal their technology to attack other worlds.
Mild refactor on these guys. Simplified the climbing stuff in exchange for complicating Symbiote Hivemind slightly. Basically reworked it so that they can't just auto-take control if they happen to be up against an enemy figure that happens to be a symbiote. Felt wrong for an enemy Venom to be that much of a joiner. Also made it so they're not a full bonding squad for Unique Symbiote Heroes, since most of those guys aren't really Symbiote-Faction types.

Also updated a couple aspects of Host-Jumping to be more consistent with our just-the-symbiote Venom card.

THE KING IN BLACK
When a Squad you control uses the Symbiote Hivemind special power, you may use all three options and then you may take a turn with Knull. You may not take any additional turns.

UMBRAKINETIC ASSAULT SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 3. Attack 6.
After attacking with this special attack, you may attack with it up to three additional times. Knull cannot attack the same figure twice in one turn, and can target non-adjacent figures even if he is engaged.

SYMBIOTE CREATION
At the end of each round, you may roll the 20-sided die for each destroyed Common Symbiote in your army. If you roll 18 or higher, place that Symbiote on an empty space adjacent to Knull.

SUPER STRENGTH

FLYING

Bio - Knull came into being before most life in the universe, and ruled over the vast nothingness of space. He saw the works of the Celestials as a gross intrusion, and created the symbiotes to wage war on those gods trying to fill his precious void with light and life.
And a more-significant refactor on Knull. My last take did a lot of the same stuff as the symbiote generics, but in slightly different ways. Wanted to rework that a bit to make the two write-ups go more hand-in-hand. Also wanted him to feel Event-ier. Maybe too much? Not sure.

Anyway he's the main antagonist of an event in a couple months, so that might still shape what we want to do here. He's popped up enough in the run-up to said event that I feel comfortable with the main character beats, though.

FORTRESS X

Bio - In an alternate reality created by one of Legion's divergent personalities, the last free mutants live in Fortress X, a safe haven created by Magneto. Existence has been reduced to a stalling action for mutantkind; every day humanity assaults the fortress, and Magneto marshals the Mutant Resistance to protect it.
Kinda weird, probably busted. I think the bio covers most of what the first two powers are getting at.

The third power is the most "get lost, Sage" power I've ever written, but it's not out of nowhere. I's a thing in the Age of X reality that every telepath has been incapacitated. Reality is a bit fuzzy around the edges, and the aspect of Legion that created it shut down all the telepaths (or at least all the mutant ones) to keep anyone from sussing out the truth. So the power's thematic to the story - bit of a cheat to bring it in on Magneto's card, but I feel like Magneto is essentially the way to do the complete "Age of X" story in one card.

SOMETHING SOMETHING FEROCIOUS ATTACKER GUY
At any point during his normal movement, if Toxin engages a figure he was not engaged with at the start of his turn, you may end his movement to roll an unblockable attack die against that figure.

SOMETHING SOMETHING BIG INTIMIDATING KILL THING FOR SOME RUTHLESS STREET VIGILANTE VIBES
If Toxin destroys a figure with his normal attack, all opponents must immediately move all figures they control that are engaged with Toxin up to 2 spaces each. Moved figures cannot end their movement engaged with Toxin and will not take leaving engagement attacks from Toxin. Fearless and huge figures are not affected by this special power.

SUPER STRENGTH
Yeah yeah, symbiote symbiote, blah blah blah. Was going for kind of shark-y high level Vigilante. The intimidation power is maybe a bit goofy but feels on brand for him.

FALSE THREAT
At the start of the game, you may choose one Kaiju in your army. That Kaiju starts the game on this card instead of on the battlefield. While that Kaiju is on this card, any Xilien figure you control has the class of Charlatan instead of what is listed on its card, is considered friendly with all opponents' figures, and cannot attack or be attacked.

XILIEN MANIPULATIONS
Before revealing an Order Marker at the start of your turn, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 6 or higher, you may choose an opponent's figure adjacent to a Xilien you control. That opponent must move an Order Marker from the chosen figure's card to any other card they control. If you roll 5 or lower, you must immediately move all of your Order Markers to this card and use the Kaiju Control special power this turn.

KAIJU CONTROL
After revealing an Order Marker on this card and instead of taking a turn with the Xilien Invasion Force, you may do either or both of the following:
• place the Kaiju from this card on any empty spaces within 6 clear sight spaces of a Xilien you control.
• take a turn with any Kaiju you control.
Godzilla villains. I feel like the write-up kinda covers their shtick? Not a super well-developed draft, just a stray thought spinning out of a Discord conversation on characters with 'X' names.

I'd be tempted to make something in that second power more compulsory just so that people aren't revealing Order Markers on these guys and prancing around and positioning all day while immune.

Yeah, I think they need a third element to both give them a little more to do in their Charlatan phase, and give it a reason to eventually end. Maybe like a d20 manipulation bit where they have a chance to mess with the enemy army, but if they roll low enough they get found out.
