Re: The Book of Jinx

The clearest thing would be to tweak the language to mention all "rolled attack dice that show skulls" but that sounds kind of silly and is redundant the majority of the time. Maybe just an FAQ that specifies it only applies to rolled skulls? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Jinx
I'd say no as well. An auto-skull is really just adding a skull, not a die, to whatever has been rolled.

Re: The Book of Jinx
I agree with Ronin. Auto-skulls haven't been rolled so they can't be re-rolled.

Re: The Book of Jinx
No, they're just skulls added to whatever the dice show.

Re: The Book of Jinx
I don't think auto-skulls would count as dice. Dice show skulls, but skulls aren't dice.
I'm fine with an R&C, though. |

Re: The Book of Jinx
I concur with the others, auto-skulls are not rolled dice but skulls added to what was rolled, thus they can't be re-rolled but if they were they would still end up as skulls on the re-roll since you are adding skulls not dice.

Re: The Book of Jinx
I've never re-rolled autoskulls for mind of the other two figures she's based off.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Jinx
Cool. Thanks for the clarifications. My use of dice to mark the auto skulls is probably what had me confused here.

Re: The Book of Jinx
updated cards to take away SS.
also..double post from Mammoth... OK so per the discussion in Psimon's thread and dok's comments I'm redistributing the points. They play fine as a team so I'm not changing the totals. I took 20 off of Mammoth and added it to Jinx. dok thought Mammoth could come down 30 but I'm going to error on the side of caution with Mammoth. If Psimon pushes up a bit higher for the team than I want I'll likely move 10 points from him over to Jinx. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Jinx
So it looks like there was a big debate over whether or not Jinx Field should affect SAs...but it's always been my understanding that SAs are exempt from being affected by special powers. From the SotM rulebook;

Re: The Book of Jinx
In the bio 'magical effects' is an odd choice of words in this context. 'Magical abilities' would read better, IMO.
Otherwise cleared. |
