Dark Horse has made a bunch of Indiana Jones comics over the years. Just like the Aliens vs. Predator comics (and the AvP inclusion into C3G), heres hoping Indy is being considered as well since he also crosses that comics vs. "other media" threshold.

Lack of a good miniature is definitely the biggest barrier.

I use James Murphy for the Indiana Jones design from the Heroes of Fiction group. As is, he's a great proxy. A modification to his gun hand would make it closer.

Didn't even realise that was a thing - I'd definitely be up for seeing him in the game, those films were fun.

Hmmm... he'd be an interesting low-level Fantastic Four ally, as Adventurer seems like a fitting class.

Not sure about Indy. Seems like if we did that, we'd have to do Firefly next. And then Futurama. And then Scrooge McDuck. "Appeared in comics" seems to be a weak barrier to entry.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

To be fair, Scrooge McDuck has a longer and more illustrious comic history than 99% of C3G units. Comicvine has 6443 appearances listed!

Actually, for curiosity's sake, here's what Comicvine has for characters by "most appearances:"

I think Indiana Jones and Firefly are both "pulpy" enough to fit in with comic books. I mean, Captain America, Rocketeer, and Indiana Jones on the same battlefield seems natural to me.

I'd agree here (well, never seen Firefly, so I can't comment on that) - honestly, as long as they're vaguely 'fighty' enough, I don't have a problem, and the barrier for entry loosening as the project progresses seems natural and fair enough for me - I mean, I don't imagine Aliens, Predators or Jason Voorhees would have been high on your list when you first did World's Finest. I see no problems with Indy.

I'd love to see a version where he leads Magneto and crew and when he absorbs the Phoenix force himself, but maybe that's just me.
