Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
Should we be concerned that when the marker isn't on, unlike Ragdoll, Chucky would take leaving engagements when using Clingy?

Nah, Clingy is optional. That's the chance he takes if he doesn't go Inanimate first.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
My point is, Clingy on Chucky isn't as good as it is on Ragdoll, as the opponent can avoid LEAs when he's Inanimate, and when not Inanimate, Chucky has to potentially take LEAs himself if he wants to use it, so the opponent could potentially get around it easier. Get Chucky to blow his marker, then get adjacent to a bunch of your own allies, then Chucky is SOL. He can't choose to put the marker back on, so just dumping him off engaged with others means he's now effectively worthless and no need to really attack him.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
Ah, I see. Well, you could make a new version of Clingy or beef up his other powers so he works like Ragdoll but I like him as different. Maybe just up his Attack by 1 so he's harder to ignore?

I think you could just slap disengage on him.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
They don't have control over where he goes if the opponent swarms him. Chucky without the marker is not threatening beyond Clingy. When Clingy isn't paired with disengage, it now becomes pretty easy to counter from most armies.
Chucky already has some decent counters in multi-attackers, multi-turn takes, special powers that deal multiple wounds, lockdown units etc. |

Disengage sounds good then. I'd prefer that to changing Clingy.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
I prefer adding Disengage and go to 4 powers over creating a new power that is basically Clingy with Disengage.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

I still like going in a different direction. Like letting him make LEAs when he's inanimate.

Re: The Book of Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) (Initial Playtestin
Just to be clear...I'm neither for nor against Disengage...I'm just stating my preference for if it's added that I'd prefer not creating a new power just to combine two existing powers.
