Would there be a way to easily remove 2 of the single-base trees so this could be built with 2 RttFF? Not a huge issue as the trees can be 3D printed now, but if it’s a simple fix, that would help cut down on terrain requirements.

So I did that on purpose. The map uses just 1 full set of RttFF worth of material and then 6 more extra trees. With use being a little more agnostic with parts, sets, 3d printing and proxies I thought that it didn't matter so much. You can use any single spaced large tree. 3D printing is a more common option and hobby stores sell tons of cheap tree options. This is a set of 12 trees for $8 and would work fine on this map:

My original design had 2 sets of RttFF but I didn't use any of the extra road pieces, so instead of a 2nd Great Tree I just grabbed extra trees so you didn't need another Road set. The extra trees was the cheaper option.

That being said I can look at dropping 2 trees from the map if that's what people prefer. I could replace with castle pieces?

I replaced 2 trees with 2 castle walls. See the red circles in the picture. Let me know if that works for you.

Overall Look: Love it, looks just like the movie.

Stability: Stable build.

Build difficulty: Straightforward, no difficulties.

Size: 19” by 39”

Unit types positively affected: Super Strength figures appreciate all the throwable trees and the Satellite.

Unit types negatively affected: None that I could tell. Double-spacers have to be cautious with their movement but can generally get around just fine.

Key areas on the Map: The height around the trees and Satellite were the main areas used.

Areas not used much or at all: The low ground near the ruins is not commonly used, but Aliens don’t mind it with the ruins for cover, and throwing people down there will keep that area used. It could be worth sending a figure out to grab the orbital laser in the bunker, but it’s kinda off the main path and so it’s not always worth going off of height to go that way. Didn’t end up going for the laser my games but I could see it being used more in the right armies especially with the Satellite helping move people for free.

Units: Melter (160), Zemo, Enchantress, Executioner (1000) VS Frieza, Frieza Force Soldier x4, Great Ape x1 (1000)

Spoiler Alert!

Both sides move up slowly. Executioner fells the Great Tree with his axe, bringing it down to defeat 1 normal tree and wound 2 Soldiers. A Soldier wounds Enchantress with a thrown tree.

A Soldier throws a tree at Executioner and misses. Frieza engages Executioner and deals him 4 wounds. Executioner wounds Frieza and Enchantress wounds a Soldier. Zemo stalls Frieza with Adhesive X. The Asgardians kill a Soldier, which spawns the Ape. Melter charges in with Sneaky Strike but only rolls 1/4 skulls and is blocked. Great Ape puts 3 wounds on Zemo. Executioner brings Great Ape to 6 wounds.

MOE take out the Ape and 1 Soldier. Zemo shuts down a Soldier with Adhesive X, and with no more OMs on him, Frieza goes after Executioner to wound him. Enchantress brings Frieza to 6 wounds. A Soldier throws a tree at Melter for 2 wounds. Frieza unleashes a Death Ball on Zemo and the Asgardians, killing Zemo and Executioner while wounding Enchantress. Melter melts a Soldier. Frieza is blocked.

A Soldier throws the Satellite at Enchantress wounding her, and Frieza kills Melter. Enchantress throws the Satellite at Frieza to kill him (lost OMs), then finishes off the Soldier.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Enchantress (3 wounds) wins.

Everyone moves up. The MOE run a lumberjack business, chopping down some trees to rob the Aliens of cover spots if they move near them.

MOE take out a Xeno. Melter moves up to try and kill another with Sneaky Strike but fails. The Queen and a Drone bring Executioner to 6 wounds. MOE fail. The Queen throws a tree at Executioner to kill him while Zemo adhesive traps a Drone. Zemo helps Melter kill a Drone.

Drones wound Enchantress, while Enchantress kills a Drone. Enchantress is killed by wounding a Drone. Drones then take advantage of the castle walls to avoid clear sight, so they can’t be shutdown by Zero’s adhesive, and kill Melter. Zemo kills a Drone.

Zemo kills the last Drone and shuts down the Queen with adhesive. Zemo actually puts 4 wounds on the Queen before falling.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Alien Queen (4 wounds) wins.

Final Thoughts: Overall, it’s a fun map. I liked it and have no suggested changes. It’s a bit obvious to just charge ahead on the height with the trees, but the risk of thrown trees, the potential of the collapsing Great Tree, and the Satellite keep that area dynamic. I don’t think you’ll go into the bunker each game.

The Battlements really didn’t impact anything at all. They look cool. But I could see leaving them or removing them, they’re very low-impact. Plenty of space to move around them.

One other thing I thought of, will we ever have any other Endor maps, like the Ewok village? It might make sense to name this one “Endor Bunker” or “Endor Shield Generator” or something just in case we ever make another map set on Endor.

Units: Cable, Deathstroke (HIVE), Ravager-Grant, Tattooed Man, Yellowjacket Rita (1000) VS Cappy, Winter Soldier, Agent Venom, Avengers Spider-Man (1000)

Yellow Jacket chooses X-Force as her faction, Winter Soldier choose Agent Venom as his Soldier Buddy.

X-Force won every Initiative except the 1 and last, even though Spidey maned the Satellite. Early looked like it was going to be a solid win for the Mercs but that hot streak didn't last.

After the first round of positioning I used Deathstrokes power to activate two figures and himself (one being Cable to keep him in action). This allowed Cable to take full advantage of his bonding on turn 2 and 3. Early round as I moved Cable up I bonded Yellow Jacket so she could get up in range to mess with folks defense.

Venom took out Ravager and then he was the next to fall when Tattooed Man threw a tree at him to take his last life after DS and Ravager wore him down. Winter Soldier had his X stolen so he couldn't use his Got your Back and another time got Mind Gamed out of not backing up WS either, but still managed to get two wounds on Grant. Winter Soldier was the next to go down but by then the Avengers had started to get some shots in.

Cappy Shield throw took out Yellow Jacket and did some damage on Tattooed Man and Cable.

DS was the next to fall when Cap took him down to his last life and then Spidey finished him off.

They tag teamed TTM and took him out next after TTM and Cable managed to get some wounds on Cappy. Cable used his advancing power to retreat a bit so that Spidey couldn't get free shots.

In the end Cable alone was not enough and the Avengers overcame.

Not going to over react here but this was a team I was asked to try. Cable with 4 attack did feel weak even with his reroll of a blank. Maybe the it should count a blank as a skull or he should get +1 base attack as he doesn't boost himself.

Units: Cable, Domino, X-23, Rebecca, Armor (1000) VS OG Titans (1000)

Rebecca chooses Domino as her parner.

So the Strategy I used here was to use Armor to essentially turn X-23 into a Sidekick when I had to move Cable. So if Cable needed to move I'd skip his leadership power and activate Armor with her Sidekick power but instead of attacking with her I'd Activate X-23 with her Complete the Mission power. If Cable didn't have to move I'd go X-23 with the +1 attack and then Cable.

Domino took the Orbital Laser spot but managed 0 wound on 6 shots.

Titans were struggling dealing with the X-23/Cable/Armor pod early but the managed to break some things free and a timely initiative turn and 3 Skull Soul Self and Starfire taking a swipe to get away from Armor so she could unload on X-23 managed to take her out. Domino did make them pay by taking out Raven on the next turn.

battered Starfire, Beastboy, and Nightwing vs Domino and Rebecca ended up being a lot closer than it should have been with as Domino and Rebecca started focusing fire on Starfire and Beastboy and dice got hot for both. Beastboy took some chances with his counterstrike power on some 1 skull rolls and ended up taking 2 wounds in the process. Down to Rebecca all alone against Beastboy and Nightwing and she managed to get rid of Beastboy and then it was 3 rounds of Nightwing dodging everything...but not doing anything on attack vs Rebecca blasting away with her Shotgun and normal attack double combo. Did get one whiff to get 2 wounds on him but in the end NW took her down.

Final Thoughts: After the first game I didn't think this map was going to be for me...which is totally fine. We have plenty. So I just played it for balance. But after two games I've warmed up to it and I could see playing around with it a bit more. It was not an unfun map but I can see it being a struggle with larger figures. It sort of encourages three throwing which is probably the point and probably why it will never be one of my top go to maps. But that isn't to say I will never play this map. It did offer some strategic choices and some fun interactions.


I will agree with Archie that most of the battlements really didn't do much. However the ones by the satellite dish were useful to hide near the satellite. The back 4 on each side can probably get removed to give some room for double spacers to move around back there with little impact to the map.


Then leave the four around the Satellite and the 2 on each side closer to the startzones.


KIDA: It felt a bit cluttered and I hated the Big tree in the middle but I also used it to hide Beastboy next to the Satellite. The Bunker area was fun. I did appreciate the Battlements near the Satellite even though I didn't use them like my Dad.

To Clarify...KidA didn't like the big tree because things got packed in there and since it was a single space most of the way around it was easy to get a figure protected in there. Even though he was the one that did that
