Bleh, I don't Care. Ds97 Just make sure you keep Cyp away from X17.(And remember that Cyp can Chill Touch the IG.)

Actually, we did an old-style draft, where one person picks a card, then the other, etc. So she picked her entire army and her counters herself.

Alright the votes are 3-3 (I'm assuming Son of Arathorn's post was in favor of Jo.), here we go, it's a long one!

Here's the reminder of the map and armies -

DS97's army: Deathreavers x2, Cyprien Esenwein, Sonya Esenwein, Ne-Gok-Sa, Iron Golem, and Guilty McCreech

This time I will be playing against my mom (Jo). Jo's army: Nilfheim, Agent Carr, Syvarris, and Major X17

Round 1 -
The Deathreavers move out.

X17 advances.

The Deathreavers continue, and secure the Defense + 1 glyph.

Syvarris steps up, and kills one Deathreaver, they scatter. He shoots another Deathreaver, fails to kill it, and they scatter again.

Cyprien Esenwein flies out towards Syvarris.

Nilfheim flies up and attacks Cyprien, but Cyprien defends against all damage.

Round 2 -
Nilfheim attacks Cyprien and deals four wounds.

Cyprien flees from Nilfheim, fails his touch roll on Syvarris, and gives him one wound on his attack.

Nilfheim breathes his Ice Shards, fails to damage two Deathreavers, and puts another wound on Cyprien.

Ne-Gok-Sa heads out.

Syvarris shoots a Deathreaver; they scatter, then turns around and kills Cyprien. Sonya’s heart is broken.


Cyprien was DS97’s #3.

Round 3 -
Ne-Gok-Sa advances further.

X17 engages Ne-Gok-Sa, trapping him, and attacks. He fails to do any damage.

Ne-Gok-Sa tries to Mind Shackle X17 and fails. He turns to attack X17, but whiffs.

Nilfheim breathes again, killing a Deathreaver, but not damaging another Deathreaver or Ne-Gok-Sa.

Ne-Gok-Sa tries to Mind Shackle X17, fails. He attacks X17 again, but X17 blocks all damage.

Nilfheim once again breathes, killing another Deathreaver, failing to damage another Deathreaver and Ne-Gok-Sa.

Round 4 -
Nilfheim breathes, but does not damage Ne-Gok-Sa or the two Deathreavers he targeted.

Guilty McCreech moves and shoots X17, giving him 1 wound.

Nilfheim moves and breathes, but again fails to damage. Ne-Gok-Sa, Guilty, and Iron Golem are safe.

Guilty gains height on X17 and deals 3 more wounds.

Nilfheim engages Guilty and attacks, but Guilty blocks all damage.

Ne-Gok-Sa tries to Mind Shackle X17, fails. He then tries to finish off X17 and free himself, but X17 blocks all damage.

Round 5 -
Nilfheim again attacks Guilty, but whiffs.

Guilty finishes off X17 and attempts to damage Nilfheim, but Nilfheim defends himself completely.

Nilfheim breathes, wounding Guilty and Ne-Gok-Sa, but fails to wound a Deathreaver.

Guilty gains height on Nilfheim and attacks, but Nilfheim defends against all damage both attacks.

Nilfheim breathes on Guilty, Ne-Gok-Sa, and a Deathreaver, but fails to do any damage.

Ne-Gok-Sa advances towards Nilfheim.

Round 6 -
Ne-Gok-Sa engages Nilfheim and Mind Shackles him!!!!!!


Nilfheim was Jo’s 1, 2, & 3.

Ne-Gok-Sa moves out into the middle of the field.

Ne-Gok-Sa approaches Syvarris.

Round 7 -
Syvarris gains height on Ne-Gok-Sa and attacks him twice, but Ne-Gok-Sa blocks all damage both times.

Ne-Gok-Sa engages Syvarris, tries to Mind Shackle him and fails, but deals one more wound.

Syvarris attacks Ne-Gok-Sa, but Ne-Gok-Sa again defends against all damage.

Ne-Gok-Sa gains height on Syvarris and gives him another wound.

Syvarris attacks Ne-Gok-Sa, fails to do damage, then turns around and kills Guilty McCreech.

Nilfheim flies over to his former teammate and kills him.

Round 8 -
Agent Carr advances and shoots Nilfheim, but fails to do damage.

Nilfheim engages Agent Carr, but whiffs on his attack.

Agent Carr attacks with his Sword of Reckoning, but Nilfheim blocks all damage.

Nilfheim attacks Agent Carr and deals 3 wounds.

Agent Carr flees and shoots Nilfheim, but he defends against all damage.

Nilfheim again engages Carr, and finishes him.

DS97 wins!!!!!

The next battle's armies will be up either tonight or tomorrow!

EDIT: Apparently, we screwed up big time, and have been screwing up since we started playing. We have been letting our ranged figures attack figures other than figures they are engaged with. We have fixed this from now on, and we both screwed up with that in this battle, so it can be considered okay, since we both cheated.

You made a major rules error. Once Nilfheim was engaged to Guilty, Guilty couldn't attack X17.

Okay, this next battle is a 1v1v1 battle. ( Playing with the right rules now. )

Here is the map we are playing on, all three treasure glyph are unknown, with glyph trap where you roll 1-5 the figure gets a wound.

I'd have to go with either Katie's army because of Braxas or your army because of the Fen Hydras. But I'll just take a wild guess and say... Katie her army should last longer with Kelda, Realin, and Isamu.
