Writeup for my favorite character from Apex Legends.

NAME = WATTSON

PERIMETER SECURITY
Begin the game with 6 Blue Fence markers. At any point before, during, or after moving Wattson, you may place a Fence marker on an unoccupied adjacent space. If at least 2 fence markers are within 5 clear sight spaces of each and in a straight line, they are considered to be Connected. If an opposing figure moves onto a space between 2 Connected Fence Markers or onto a Connected Fence Marker, you may roll an unblockable attack die against that figure. Figures that are wounded by a Connected Fence must immediately end their movement. At the end of each round, place all Fence markers back onto this card.

LEGEND’S SHIELD
Once per round, If Wattson would receive one or more wounds from an enemy figure's attack, special power, or leaving engagement attack, ignore one of those wounds.

Wattson's whole thing in the game is her fences. She puts 2 points down, and it makes an electric fence that hurts/slows enemies that cross it. She's got an ultimate where she plops down a pylon that zaps grenades out of the air, but it's not as cool as fences.

The markers probably need something about height too.

2nd power is based off of her passive, where her shield slowly regenerates.

Yup, that’s right. She could drop all the fences in one move, but that probably wouldn’t make for much of a network.

COMBAT PROGRAMS
Before revealing an Order Marker on this card, you may choose a Special Attack on the army card of any Unique Human Hero on the battlefield. Neo is considered to have this Special Attack until the end of your turn.

FORCE OF ONE
Before attacking with Neo, you may choose to either:
• attack any or all figures adjacent to Neo, rolling each attack separately; or
• add 3 to Neo's Attack number this turn, and while attacking Neo has the Super Strength special power.

BULLET TIME
When Neo defends against an attack, if you roll at least one blank, Neo takes no damage, may immediately use his normal move, and you may roll 1 unblockable attack die against the attacking figure.

For combat programs I might wanna just say in the game, if anyone starts off Fury style or is deaded like it shouldn't matter, but not sure how to word it and also that might be OP.

It'd be fun figuring out units to draft Matrix people with just based on the best SAs to bring lol.

Force of One is a brilliant reuse.

I might just let him have Human SAs. SS, Flying, and MD is a lot of callouts for something that still isn’t going to come close to blocking out all the unthematic SAs. Could also do something like Echo instead of SA copying.

It does feel like a bit of a miss not to have some sort of Bullet Time mechanic.

Love Force of one reuse. First power seems like it’s trying too hard. I’d rather see Stealth Dodge or Speed Dodge or something.

This card definitely needs Stealth Dodge, I am still convinced that is what Krav Maga agents were referencing with their ability so Neo needs it here to complete the loop
