Thanks guys, particularly for the clarification on 1. since the "No" didnt tell me that the buff only lasted for one turn, only that it didn't stack.

Wow...ok that question should have been ridiculed despite the rules on this thread.

Glad I asked though because that even narrows it from the "turn" or "round" to that specific OM attack.

Be careful though - a "Round" refers to all 3 Order Markers.

Revealing a numbered Order Marker allows you to take a "turn" There are some special powers that will allow you to get multiple turns out of one Order Marker (bonding, Mind Link, Red Flag of Fury, Frenzy, etc.). A "round" consists of revealing all 3 numbered Order Markers.

Is the D&D Master Set well thought of and worth getting? It seems the opinion of the Marvel comic set is not that high, perhaps because it doesn't blend that well with traditional HS, but what are the feelings about the D&D set?

It's worth picking up JUST for the terrain if you ask me.

The DnD figures (like pretty much every release) run a fair range from very competitive to HIGHLY scenario / niche. The 3rd masterset is more of the scenario mindset, with several of the figures being pretty "useless" outside of being "forced" to use them in some manner of scenario play.

That said, all the DnD waves really offer a new way to play the game (Dungeon Dive style scenarios). If you are at all interested in growing yer scape collection in that direction then all the DnD stuff is golden. If your more interested in picking through the figures for stuff to help you at your next tourney then you'll have to do some reading on the figures. There isn't much to write home about in the master set (Derrak has his uses as a bonding hero for the AGoBF), the Phantom Knights and the Fen hydra come instantly to mind for DnD figures that fit well into the tourney Scene.

The outcrops are very useful as LOS blockers without spending hundreds of $$$ getting Thaelenk Tundra. The outcrops are particularly useful this way because they have no other effect. All the other LOS blockers (except a dead Hive) have some effect for some or all figures (Dzu-Teh can use the glaciers, figures can stand on castle pieces for height advantage, palms and bushes give +defense and they and the conifers can be used by the Quasatch Hunters for movement bonus). The outcrops are just in the way.

I'm about to get myself another BftU just for the outcrops (and more shadow). It's also the cheapest Master set.

You forget yourself Z, The first masterset had those lovely ruins, with no other game effect other than LoS blocking. Good point all the same, pretty much everything else gives at least ONE figure some sort of bonus.

Hit it for the first post you want in your multi quote and for every subsequent quote block you want *except* the last one. For the last one hit the "quote" button and your post will now be populated with quote blocks for each of the selected posts.
