Another rough one for Power Skrull as he gets almost one shot for the second game in a row. I did get to use his SA in this one which was cool. Wrecking Crew got tons of turns.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: He has an interesting skill set that requires the right pieces around him and I am not sure they exist yet. I think he is pretty good at 200 or maybe a touch lower but he did have terrible luck on defense.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: He feels like he could use some friends besides Klaw who is great. That SA was pretty fun, I just wish his defense dice were not so cold.

Paibok netted two wounds on May, two wounds on Chuck, and one on Warren, all with his SA. His leadership was used a fair bit to move Venom and Purple Man up.

Norman and Venom caught some tough breaks and underperformed. Paibok had a decent-but-not-great showing. Purple Man got extremely lucky and won the game by himself after the rest of his team died, as Xavier (the only guy who could cut through RMC) couldn't quite bring him down, while Purple Man kept hitting his rolls to take more mutants over.

So this is... technically a win for Paibok but probably should have been a substantial loss.

Norman got worked over pretty hard in round one on my first shot at this, so restarted the game without playing that one out.

Attempt two went better for him, as he managed to use Paibok to threaten Amora a lot more effectively (MD types: not into triple-attackers) and split her focus.

Paibok got three wounds in on Amora and moved Purple Man up, on top of soaking up a couple Starfox attacks. Not a huge amount of damage from him personally, but having him on the field definitely affected strategy.

Purple Man got hold of Starfox early, but this actually turned out to not really matter that much because Amora's "take control" bonding style let her get him back anyway a couple turns later.

Purple Man ended up being the last man standing on his team after Venom whiffed 2 defense rolls in a row, but this time Purple Man missed every single RMC roll despite only needing a 10 and got flattened.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Groot with 3/3 Life, Starfox with 4/7 Life, Jason with 4/6 Life

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: The multi-attack and skull-tripling SA option overshadows the rest of what he does by a good bit. Much more fun and more potent than the other SA option.

Duplicitous Schemes is hard to draft around; I think I would have been better off ignoring it and just drafting him as a guy with a multi-attack SA. I'd consider losing the OM requirement, since the benefit is mild anyway and that'd let him work a little better with OM managers.

Circling back to this. Do you feel like it was the triple skull bit or just the multi-attack bit that makes it so much better of an option? Would just going down to double skulls help enough?

While that would be nice on Duplicitous Schemes, part of the thing there was to have some tension between him and the Emperor. If you have some other way to do that, I'm all ears.
