Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Yup. It had plot problems, IMHO, related to a problem with one of the characters. I do love Mike Colter in that role, though.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Yeah, he was great. Rosario is the tie that binds and was great also.
Also enjoyed Misty and Cottonmouth characters. It just devolved to a slug fest which is not as compelling as the other series. Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I agree completely. It had problems in its second act.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I enjoyed the first season of The Expanse, so I got the books (I'm about 75% of the way through the most recent one right now). I've been looking forward to the second season, but didn't realize that it had already started. I watched 4 episodes over the last 2 days, and I'm all caught up now.
It's very interesting how the show and the books differ. For the most part it is bringing in stuff from later books to give a better picture from the beginning. There are a few characters that appear in the first season who don't appear until at least the second or third books. I like how the first book has a smaller scope than the show, but I think the story wouldn't be as good as a "more faithful adaptation". They work better within their respective media. Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
My daughters and I watched A Series of Unfortunate Events and enjoyed it. We're now watching Stranger Things again, as we really liked it and wanted to watch it again.

Man, I have to check that out.
Interesting seeing the notoriety some of the actors that were in Luke Cage are getting. Great cast. A cloud can change its semblance, yet retain its will With the intimacy of destruction, One knows what it is to be alive The empty sky holds no reflection, for sorrow - Eslo Rudkey |

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I knew nothing about the books or anything else about A Series of Unfortunate Events, but it looked interesting enough that I mentioned it to my daughters. When we finished the last season of Lost a few nights ago, the girls asked to watch that show and we started it, then they kept wanting more.
It's a bit quirky and strange, but if b you can dig that, then it's pretty good. Did like seeing some familiar faces. Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Started watching Daredevil Season 2 again last night. Watched the first 4 episodes, they are just about perfect as a Punisher mini-series. Then I skipped ahead to the episode where Frank is in prison. Might be my favorite episode of Season 2. If you have seen it you know why.
Spoiler Alert!
