Surely that wasn't the update, right?

They just replaced the original images instead of adding new ones and keeping the original ones. That's kind of weird, do they have a data limit for their website or something?

I appreciate seeing a handful of new cards, but there isn't really any new information or video showcasing the terrain. Or anything that would actually attract a new person to the campaign.

They're still showing that sepia tone box art instead of the full color version.

I'm hearing it's a work in progress still and we "weren't supposed to notice" the new pictures yet.

Holding out hope that's not a lame excuse and they will still do things like update the card count and put up the playthrough video.

The Haslab page received the full update! It includes a GIF of a battlefield being built, a beta ruleset, much more emphasis on the terrain in general, and looks quite a bit spiffier. It also includes the link to the playtest video we saw last week!

I'm assuming the update is still ongoing since right now it lists the components in two places (50 cards in one place and 46 in another).

NEW GLYPHS! Look on Pages 21 and 22 of the rulebook; there are two new permanent glyphs and three new temporary ones. Of the two new permanent glyphs, the first is a weird trap glyph that immediately halts the movement of non-Huge figures and gives them a -1 attack and -2 defense debuff while they're standing on the glyph. When a unit moves off the glyph, they roll an attack die as if they were taking a leaving engagement attack; the glyph is removed afterwards. The second new permanent glyph is an official Disengage glyph. The three new temporary glyphs allow you to immediately heal three wounds from any one of your figures (so a slightly different Kelda); remove another glyph from the battlefield; and move up to three units you control six spaces. Also included are the Glyphs of Astrid and Gerda, as well as (of course) the Glyph of Brandar. A pretty exciting list all-around!

I don't see life values on the newly revealed cards, but there are some cool special abilities shown. It also says what planet each unit is from on the right edge.

The general symbols are really confusing though. They need to use the old ones or put names under them.

One card has the Flying power without the ability description under it. Someone got their wish.

Now where have I seen a card with a similar design aesthetic? I feel strangely vindicated with the new card graphic designs and the size of the art on the right hand side.
