I think squads/multiattackers/multi-turn heroes will have a much easier time dealing with him than a one on one battle. It'd be cool to see how he fairs against some low cost hero-teams like the Rogues or the Teen Titans.

Yeah, I think once he goes up against any multi-activation group of unique heroes with a little range or some extra wounding powers on them, he'll get humbled a tad.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Hmmm... yeah, the more I think about it, multi-attacking armies are going to serve this guy up a double portion of humble pie. I'm actually thinking he might be lucky to make it past 180-90 at this level.

I think a one on one battle against Azrael would be a nice test of that. His burning blades+double attack would be killer against the Battle Hardened power, and he is 20(?) points lower than the target range. So far, all the one on one tests have been against other single attacking heavy hitters.

The big thing about having multiple attacks against this guy is that they can counter Battle Hardened - it means that this guy can take multiple wounds in one turn, whereas even Thor or Superman couldn't do that outside the first hit.

How does this look for the Bio? It covers more of his early years as a warrior instead of his time as a thief.

Conan was born on a carnage-strewn battlefield in the hills of the western most region of Cimmeria. The fact that he was born on a battlefield was considered, amongst the Cimmerians, to be an omen that Conan would grow up to be a great warrior one day. Before Conan had seen fifteen snows, the Cimmerians attacked Venarium; this was the first time Conan had ever been to war, and he is known to have distinguished himself in battle.

Conan, who long dreamed of visiting the fabled city of Hyperborea, arrives there in chains and becomes a gladiator for the amusement of the Hyperboreans. Conan eventually leads a slave revolt, unfortunately they cannot stand up to the power of Hyperborea's wizards, and though he makes it to freedom, he is unable to save any of the rest of his comrades-in-arms. These experiences will haunt him for the rest of his life and result in Conan harboring a life-long hatred of sorcerers.

Getting this done also made me think that if we want/need to add anything to the current design some kind of special interaction with sorcerers (Magical Defense figures) might be a good one.

Perhaps something in Barrage of Blades saying you roll one additional die against figures with Magical Defence? That plus the fact it's a multi attack would make it a pretty good counter.

Great Bio!

I am not sure he needs extra against MD. If he gets on top of a MD figure, his three attacks are already impressive.

I am going to fire this test back up shortly. A few more Heavy Hitters on a new map and then the squads. Right now I am thinking Hired Guns and Beat Cops in the first battle and two squads of Hawkmen or Amazons for the second.

For the first army test I am thinking Captain America(240), Conan & Gorilla Man vs. ????

Second test at 1000 points. No idea. Perhaps a Baron Zemo army.
