Xotli,

I reported this problem ages ago and can still reproduce it from a variety of computers running a variety of browsers. I am now in the habit of NEVER clicking here from google because of it.

Huh. I never noticed because I always search for something on this site using the search tool here, not Google. But yes, I get the same redirect also.

I guess http://www.customshowerdoorsc.com/ loves Heroscapers.com.

Yup. There's the Google tool where you can search within a website for something ("heroscapers.com: fallen pier" will take you straight to my favorite map), and when I use it I have to slip past the showers and doors site. I think I tell it to pull a cached page, or something; I don't remember. But I get the showers and doors.

Well, I've tried it twice now, several times each attempt, and I haven't been able to reproduce it. Don't know what's going on.

So people say that it seems to happen regardless of OS, but only from Google? No one's ever gotten it when typing an URL in by hand, or using a bookmark, or anything like that?

Just tried it here on firefox. Googled book of agent carr, Hovered over the link and everything looked fine, but when I clicked it, shower doors.

When I tried from Google using IE, I got an "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" page and a little Norton notification in the corner of my screen. I clicked for more information from Norton and took a screenshot, so I hope this helps:



The same thing happens with Bing.

That's interesting that it shows the source as TEST.heroscapers.com. Some sandbox stuff accidentally got pushed to the live server?

Yeah, as hj points out, there's something coming from test.heroscapers.com. That's our test site that we used when we switched from PHPbb to vB; I don't think it's been used since then. If it's causing problems, I can probably just turn it off. Give me a few days and I'll find some time to fiddle around with it more.
