As far as I'm concerned, any funding they currently have is mostly pre-campaign funding. The campaign hasn't really begun until they put new player info on the campaign page, IMO.

I could see that, where new players will feel more confident in backing if they see thousands of backers are already involved and they see videos/images explaining how the game works to them.



Hasbro would have to put that new info on the page quick and ramp up advertising to achieve it however, and the more days that goes by the less effective an increase in marketing will be as it will have less time to reach people

I just find it crazy that there seems to be so much resistance to put up a new, organized picture, some unit cards, and a how to play/gameplay example video. Is Hasbro really willing to throw away all that prep work, creating figure work, app creation, and future expansion planning over not simy putting up these quick fixes in a day or two?

Honestly, I'm starting to think waiting two weeks to put up all that basic stuff is Hasbro's money saving way of gaining new backer interest and getting past mid campaign slump instead of revealing and offering a few new secret stretch goal unlocks.

I think they should have continued doing daily reveals all through the crowdfunder to keep the momentum of interest going. Prior to the haslab beginning, it was exciting to tune in each day and see what new design they revealed.

They could have revealed two cards with their abilities each day so everyone would come back for more. Then some of the more hesitant people could have seen the abilities they liked and decided to jump in

I think we'll see a lot of that this week, on Tuesday (they said it probably won't go up on Monday to do QA, etc.)

Last I checked, they still hadn’t corrected the number of cards that come with this and that was pointed out on day one. They even added tile piece breakdowns and added photos of what we’d get without correcting that info.

The employee(s) that handle the website could be far removed from the design team that interact with us. There may be scheduled updates where they update all the information at once. There may not be scheduled updates as they may have not expected the need. It’s hard to know. Hasbro is a ponderous company that doesn’t do anything quickly and their web presence has always been laggy.

Too bad we didn't get lucky and had the IT person responsible for the page, be a rabid Scape fan. That thing would have been top notch from the start.

No attack on anyone, especially design team. Many times, small errors make big differences in ones decisions. It’s a form of representation.

Love the unit and character designs. LOVE THEM.

Yeah, I don't see anyone specifically pointing fingers, but slow updates are costly no matter who's to blame for them, especially for a campaign that's in doubt.
