Cool report, it kept me entertained. I liked most of the terrain. did you spray spaint some grass hexes? Because every now and then I see a really weird loking one. The rest looks fine though.

Thanks! This particular terrain is a mix of various experiments. My next battle report has more consistent-looking terrain.

I've also had success with Kato and the Ashigaru.... I even beat Deathwalker 8000 and Q10 with them, and that's supposed to be one of their worst matchups!

You really just have to stay on the offensive - moving and attacking with 8 figures is really, really strong. Also, if you've ever played Venocs, they play similarly but with more consistency. You always get 8 attacks instead of having to rely on the D20, and you become much more concerned with the multitude of attacks your opponent can bring than the magnitude of each attack.
