Project Pokemon Scenarios and maps.

Goals of the scenario thread.

To provide a fun and alternative way to playtest for Project Pokemon.
Any member of project pokemon may suggest a scenario. After a scenario has been suggested it can be voted on for passing into design. After a scenario has been moved into design it will be critiqued by the community, until it is deemed ready for testing. After it is tested at least four time by different members it will be voted on yet again. If a scenario is passed into finalization it will be given a last minute check over for wording and grammar problems. After a scenario has passed finalization it will be submitted to a member of the art department for the PDF instructions. After the art department has created a suitable PDF it will be sent to one of our site supporters to be added to the downloads section. A link to the download will be added to the Project Pokemon Display Thread.

Wild Onix.

Spoiler Alert!

A wild Onix has been sighted in a cave north of here. You arrive at the cave with the intention of catching it, but you’re not the only trainer after the prize.

Setup.

Each player drafts 300 points worth of units. Player 1 places his figures in the red start zone. Player 2 places his figures in the green start zone. Place the Wild Onix on the yellow spaces.

Special rules.

Onix is considered to be a neutral figure.

Neutral figure: Both players may place order markers on a neutral figure’s army card. Order Markers should be placed to either side of the neutral figure’s army card so that they are not accidentally revealed as the card changes hands throughout the game. When an order marker is revealed on a neutral figure, that player controls that figure for the duration of its turn. After that turn that figure becomes neutral and is not controlled by either player. While a figure is neutral all players treat it as an opponent’s figure. A neutral figure cannot pick up or activate any treasure glyphs, but like all figures, it can stand on a treasure glyph.

Victory conditions.
Player 1 wins when all of player 2's figures have been defeated. Player 2 wins when all of player 2's figures have been defeated. After five rounds the Onix flees and the player with the most points remaining wins.

This is meant to be played on a small map made with dungeon terrain with a few scatter water hexes. Shadow and stalagmites are to be kept to a minimum. Onix is a two hex figure and must be able to move around a lot. Please keep that in mind when drafting a map. If you have a map that meets these requirements please post it to be considered for this scenario.
