I think it could be read as:

1. If you take the turn, after you've taken the turn you can start to use the powers

OR

2. As soon as you start the turn you can use the powers

#2 is what I want to happen, but I'm not sure #2 comes across clearly without the verbiage I had.

Instead of taking a turn with its Tether, you may take a turn with this Psychic Projection. If you do, starting with that turn and, for the rest of the round, it may use any special powers on its Tether's Army Card and its Tether cannot move, attack, or use any special powers. If this Psychic Projection is destroyed, its Tether receives three automatic wounds.
