The Zarbi resembled giant ants. Some Zarbi moved on two powerful human-like legs, (TV: The Web Planet) while others, like the ones in the London Underground, moved on six legs like ants on Earth. (COMIC: Unnatural Selection) They communicated by screeching and rubbing their legs together. (TV: The Web Planet) Much like bees, Zarbi also communicated by dancing. (COMIC: The Macrobe Menace) They were naturally simple-minded creatures, no smarter than cattle. They had no individual motives. (TV: The Web Planet)
Socially, they were similar to the ants of Earth. They lived in massive nests with millions of members. There was also a similar caste system, with powerful warrior Zarbi, common workers and giant, bloated queens. They were born as larva, which were little more than grey blobs.

I'd love to see the Zarbi, especially with an Animus to lead them! Probably pretty viable for figures too, since they're just giant ants. A higher attack probably sense, but wouldn't want to make them too powerful with Ant-Man.

Yeah, that was my fear as well. I guess they are not easy to boost so one higher attack may be doable.

Have we ever done a design before that has basically the same powers as another design? (Outside of Cuckoos, etc.)

I don’t really care if the Zarbi have a bucnh of powers though, fwiw. They’re mostly famous for being a crap (yet kinda adorable) special effect.

I think it would be cool if the various Ant-Man cards had some more powerful Insect bonding options to consider. You'd have to pay for them, and every Ant-Man is always in danger of suddenly dropping on you, so I wouldn't worry too much about it becoming broken. Might find time to work on some Giant Ants in 2021, they sound like a fun idea.

LONELY ASSASSIN
At the start of the first round before Order Markers are placed, and after an opponent reveals a numbered Order Marker on an Army Card they control, you may immediately move this Weeping Angel up to 8 spaces. If this Weeping Angel ends its movement adjacent to one or more figures, you may choose an adjacent figure and roll an unblockable combat die against that figure.

DON'T BLINK
This Weeping Angel never takes leaving engagement attacks. When moving this Weeping Angel normally or with the Lonely Assassin special power, if it moves onto a space within 3 clear sight spaces of an opponent's figure, it must immediately end its movement.

TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL
If this Weeping Angel would inflict one or more wounds on a figure with its normal attack or Lonely Assassin special power, you may choose to ignore those wounds. If you do, the player who controls that figure must place it in their Start Zone and you may remove a Wound Marker from this card.

Not so sure about the bit in blue. I really like the idea that the Angels are already "out in the world" at the start of the game. It feels totally on-point to have one lying around each corner, waiting to jump out at enemy figures. But it's also mostly flavor text in what is already a fairly busy design, since the Angels will cover enough ground already cause they're so fast.

There’s a weird loophole currently where you can speed them up with Jean Grey or Martian Manhunter or whatever. Not a crippling theme break or anything, but it might mess with their gameplay a bit. Not sure if there’s a way around it, without just making them unmovable by other figures. (Which feels weird, somebody who could pick up a statue should be able to pick up an Angel.)
