Heroscape Tournament on Day 2 ( Saturday )


Date: May 6, 2017


Location: Austin Armory. Right off I-90 at 800 21st St NE, Austin, MN 55912

Sign in: thru www.tabletop.events Doors open: AM Start 1st round: 10:00 AM

Entry fee: $ 0 (There is a $10 fee to get into Austi-con 3 day event)

Format: Modified Swiss-style -- Mostly Swiss-style, but I will modify it as need be to ensure we all get to play 5 games. All meaningful ones, if I can figure out how.

Points: 400-point army ( No Marvel allowed, not official or C3G )

Customs: Valhalla Customs are allowed. That is, anything produced by the C3V or SoV projects. If you need any units, PM me and I can provide. (First come, first served.)

Maps – 24 hex starting positions on each map. Each map is different map

Glyphs: TBD

Tournament Director: Scytale

What You should Bring: Figures (400 pt max), Dice (Attack/Defense/D-20), Turn Markers, Wound Markers. Good Sportsmanship

Oh man. I'm so bummed. I have a family trip that weekend. Was really looking forward to the event this year again. Really enjoyed last year's tournament and meeting fellow heroscapers for the first time!

Bmon .... that is too bad, however I would bet there will be an Austi-Con III next year, and Heroscape will most likely be part of Austi-Con. You still have the Tree Town Open in October. Between now and then pefully someone will host a Heroscape tournament in the Rochester area as well as at least one in the Twin Cities.

As I am already planning on attending Austi-Con I plan on attending this as well.

Thanks Codeman. Sorry I missed the Tree Town Open. September and October are challenging months for me, but will definitely keep it on my radar for this next coming October. And will be on the lookout for more events, just disappointed to miss this round!

Scytale has offered to help out ... So since he offered... I hear by make Scytale the TD (Tournament Director) . This being the case I am ready sit back and enjoy the tournament. He did a great job last year at Austin Con I, he also brought many new players into the game. Looking forward to playing HS again this year at Austi-Con

Unless I hear objections and/or suggestions, I'm going to run it like last year. Codeman, if you would be so kind as to update the OP, or we can get a mod to make me the thread owner.

Yes ... I will bring the maps

This past year at the TTO due to the low turn out and get enough rounds in for everyone .... I did two divisions (divided up the people who drove together or by state). Then each division did round-robin. Then the first place winners faced off, 2nd place winners faced off, and so on.

As far as maps they are all in my garage... I don't have a list or remember what they are. I will attempt to get out there some time and look.

Okay just officially bought my badge for Austi-Con and ticket for the Heroscape Tourney. Excited for it. I have extra figs and customs if anyone wants to borrow anything. I can also donate a prize or prizes.
