Thorian Speed isn't all it's cracked up to be; most decent armies will have a ranged special attack.
Cyprien is the better overall choice, except where Soulborg are concerned. His 3 attack won't be cutting through a 7+ defense anytime soon. However, he doesn't have to worry about getting bogged down in rats. Head to head, Drake wins about 60% of the time. If Cyprien has his ch1xx0rz, then the odds switch around and Cyprien wins about 60% of the time. Patience Drain After loading and before posting, roll the twenty-sided die. On a 1, Therion makes a long and/or irritating post. On a 2-15, Therion may not post this turn. On a 16+, post normally.

It doesn't quite work that way. Sonya is commonly seen with Cyprien. (In fact, I can't remember the last time I didn't use the two together...)
Also, this is counting the SotM Drake; if you use the old one and assume that Cyprien gets the first hit (and he will), then the odds are again 60% in Cyprien's favor. Now, a RotV Drake boosted to 5 def. by Raelin still has a mere 40% chance against a Cyprien with +2 to Chilling Touch from Sonya. If you use Kelda instead, then things get harder. (Not too much, though, as Cyprien'd just win by even more. Don't forget the horrid OM management that goes with Kelda.) Patience Drain After loading and before posting, roll the twenty-sided die. Well, I think it's fairly obvious who wins this argu- uh, discussion.
 Seems like even the most basic disagr- altercation can sprout strategic opinion.
