600 point armies

Ive looked through the threads and havent found a similar one, so does anyone have any...
Im going to the tournament in Ann Arbor and they're playing 600 points and im sorta unfamiliar to that.

Su-bak-na 160
Nagrubs 30
Airborne Elite 110

I have become a fan of the Stingers recently,the Stingers and Nagrubs have bonding w/ su-bak-na, and the AE are bad a$$ if you get the drop. You'll fill up 20 hex spaces with this army, 15 Stingers are intimidating!

600 points opens up some good options:

Taelord the Kyrie Warrior 180
Minions of Ut x 2 220
Snipers x 2 200

Total 600

This is a formidable army on almost any terrain. The trick is keeping your only hero alive, but the snipers and minions are excellent w/o him. However, swarms will cause problems here as will Braxas and Deadeye.

If you really want to win, you'll need something like

Q9 180
Gladiatrons x 3 240
Blastatrons x 3 180

Total = 600

You may want to replace one of the Gladiatrons with Finn or Thorgrim (to give Q9 a boost). If you want to replace Q9 with Q10 and eliminate a squad of Glads, you can get Laglor or the Nakita warriors in there.

Finally, no army recommendation of mine would be complete without an orc army.

Grimnak 120
Heavy Gruts x 3 210
Krug 120
Arrow Gruts x 3 120

Total 570
This army should not need to use the additional 30 points, but if you insist, go ahead and get Guilty for some more range. Or get rid of one Arrow Grut and add another Heavy (if you got it). 2 Arrow Gruts as range is a little light here, but the army should still dominate.

Also remember the AA tournament will only be 5 rounds of play... so speed is important.

Khosumet - 75
Acolarch - 110
Hatamato Taro - 130
Marro Drones (1 squad) - 50
Marrden Nagrubs - 30

Did I mention that I'll probably be playing against you at that Tournament?

How in the world is that a good team? Hatamato, with no samurai, and since when has spartacus ever been worth his points?
