As for the well written, I'm not sure. I made this translation a little too quickly, and reading it again, I see a lot of english mistakes (and I probably don't see them all !!) that hurt my eyes ! I confess a tendancy to forget all "s" to the end of verbs at the third person. It is also not as fluent as I would like it to be.

Sure, the English isn't perfect, but the story flows very easily from one picture to the next. That is what I meant by well written.

This final battle looks to be good! There are a lot of bad guys on the opposing team and Raelin is gone!

Trapped !

Spoiler Alert!

New round. Heroes got lucky and can play before the GM

Tandros jumps in the egg clutch's ruin to defeat the wyrmling there. He intends to hold this place to cover to escape of the others heroes.


Kaemon Awa completly overkill a wyrmling with a 4 skull attack, but the wyrmling on height resists. They must kill him to be able to go up the stairs !

Rhogar begins the retreat to the stairs.

GM's turns ! Wo-Sa-Ga moves out of the swamp and heads right to Tandros. Tandros takes 3 wounds, and Wo-Sa-Ga try to choke him, to no avail.


The last black wyrmling spit acide on Kaemon Awa that was looking to Tandros. Taken by surprise, the samurai take 2 wounds.


The next turn was be pityfull for the heroes...
Tandros didn't achieve to wound the big snake.
Kaemon can't play without order marker 2
Rhogar hesitated between going back to help Tandros or healing Kaemon. He choose to heal the samurai, to make him out of the danger of another 2 wound acide breath, but fail...

Seeing that all attention is given to Wo-Sa-Ga, Othkurik takes flight, flies over the cemetery and cuts the escape road of the party. He attacks the Kyrie Healer with a 8 dice attack, obtaining 5 skulls. Kelda defends herself valiantly and take "only" 3 wounds.

The heroes are cornered by the two monsters ! They need to regroup and hold the place until they manage to free one of the two road to fresh air. They can't help but to feel like little mouses trapped inside a corner by two vicious cats.

I know this one is a little shorter, but it is needed... for the suspens !

Seriously, those heroes look doomed. They face a full like Othkurik (blocking the stairs), a full life Wo-Sa-Ga, Marro Drudge, Deathstalkers, and some Nagrubs!

I just don't see a way they can get out of this alive.

As they should be! The Heroes have had it easy until now, only losing Guilty and Raelin (twice). Face the full might of Utgar!

I'm predicting the heroes will pull a victory out of this somehow though. Something involving epic Kaemon Awa counterstrikes and Kelda heals.

Rout !

Spoiler Alert!

Kelda gathers her courage and take the risk to disengage from both Othkurik and the black wyrmling (with full success !) to go help Tandros. She heals him for 2 wounds (5 hp left).


Kaemon moves up to attack the black wyrmling that wounded him but fails to kill it.


Darrak then dashes on the marro big snake and strike him violently (7 attacks dice thanks to the attack+1 glyph) but only achieve a minor wound.


Wo-Sa-Ga eat a nagrub to heal herself, and it probably wheted her appetite as she then proceed to gulp down Tandros alive !! The party is shocked and Kelda screams !


Kaemon Awa, alerted by Kelda's scream turn back to look, only to be striked on the back by an acide attack from the black wyrmling.
Kaemon Awa se retourne, alerté par les cris de Kelda, mais il reçoit dans le dos une décharge d'acide fatale (20 au D20) du black wyrmling...

Without Raelin to resurect him (you need a hero alive in the team to ressurect another), his remains will for ever rest on the stairs of the putrid cave.

The only still living party members are Darrak, Kelda and Rhogar. It is a huge blow for the heroes, they lost 2 order by the elimination of team Raelin + Kaemon, and they absolutly must resurect Tandros (thus losing another order marker) because they only have 250points of figure left, not enough to win.
The party began with 9 active order marker versus 3 for the GM. After Tandros will be ressurected, it'll be 5 versus 6 (GM has a set of order marker for each army, so a set for the swamp army and another for the nest army), it is upside down !!

Still surrounded by Othkurik and Wo-Sa-Ga, the fate of ours valiant heroes looks pretty grim...

I think you missed a day, Lyrgard... It feels like there's something missing.

Yeah, the second pic mentions Tandros being revived, but he was still alive in Trapped!. I'll continue reading once you've posted the missing part, 'cause I don't want to spoil the story. Awesome report, by the way. I always enjoy reading your reports.

New round, new hopes ?

Rhogar attacks Wo-Sa-Ga, but his axe bounces on the hard scale of the marro


Kelda sacrifices the order marker 1 to make Tandros alive again.


The black wyrmling moves down tow steps and target Kelda, thankfully without success.


Darrak attemps once again to find a weak spot on the marro's snake armor, but fails.


Wo-Sa-Ga deals one wound to the pesty dwarf that is tickling her for some time.


Wound immediatly healed back by Tandros, but Wo-Sa-Ga remains untouchable.


Just before the wyrmling turn, Tandros dashes to it and kills it. Heroes breath a litle more easilly.


Seeing his last offsping die, Othkurik rages, take flight and go furiously directly to Kelda. Thanksfully, the remains of the egg clutch protects her. She only take one wound, but she is on the verge of dying, and alone, surrounded by only foes.


And just as this time, when the light of hope was fading, Darrak finds the weak spot he was seeking. His dagger finds its way to the heart of Wo-Sa-Ga that shivers and die !


Kelda tries to fight back with renewed hope, but her energy is leaving her, and the nagrub she attacks easilly dodge her kick.


While Othkurik is busy attacking Kelda, a shadow slips under his head and with a powerfull up-strike, a dagger sink in the dragon's skull, up to the brain. Once again, Darrak did a feat of great prowess, and save the day !


The party has more room to breath, finally.
We are at the begining of a new round, the GM lost all his order marker for the round, so Tandros decide to capitalize on it and dash forward on the marro waiting in the swamp.


Meanwhile, Rhogar heals Kelda for a wound and get her ride of the nagrub that was nibbling her toes (3 wounds left).


Tandros finally reach the Marro and begins to slice through the mass (here a little error, I misread the CLEAVE power as being able to wound a figure adjacent only to the first wounded figure. Not that it changed anything, just to explain the photo).


End of the round !

The situation suddently changed from desesperate to good-looking in a flash ! Two monstruous strike of Darrak's dagger was all that was needed. Without that, I wouldn't have bet 2 cent on the heroes !
