One time use could be interesting, the effect is pretty powerful like you said. If it's not a one time use, I could see having it move an OM from a figure to another figure, similar to Leo Fitz.

I'd do single use and let you steal all the OM's from that card or once per round.

Interesting idea. The concept of a championship belt is fun.

Figured I'd update my D.Va design, she's one of the first designs I'd like to LD in the future. I think the best way to design her would be to make the main design with her mech, and then make a separate Hana Song design later to function similarly to the secret identity designs. I know there was ideas about making her mech a VDO, but it's a snug fit for her to begin with and she's pretty short, and the mech is so personalised to her that it'd feel like making Iron Man's suit a VDO for anyone to use.

My main advice would be to tighten the ranges up. She's providing probably the biggest explosion effect in the game and a massive Defensive Matrix, and neither of those really feel super-thematic to the character. In OW, both those abilities are pretty tight auras, so maybe 1-2 spaces in Heroscape?
Fwiw, an Iron Man suit VDO is definitely something we've talked about doing. I can dig this approach though. There's definitely a certain "look at our shiny toys!" appeal to being able to put Captain America or the Gundam pilot dude in the robot from Overwatch, but if we want to keep D.Va/Hana as a more confined/controlled pairing, this is probably the way to go. Most likely needs Super Strength as well? |

Agree on dropping the range. I can see 2 spaces on both powers being pretty accurate when ported to Scape scaling. Super Strength proooobably tracks? Haven't read the comics or anything but I'd be very surprised if that big ol' mech can't toss a car or something.
Besides that, from me. Looks fun! Forgot to respond on Edward Garner Nobody, but doing the Belt as a glyph is a cool idea! I might go that direction. |
