I actually think it reads better with the "adding 1" language here, I also believe we typically say "while defending" vs "when defending".

This passes.

The first power is based pretty directly on Raph's. I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure Archie's wording is a bit less clear, since it's not apparent when the first attack action ends and you enter the second?

I know we have some good references for the "after combat where XXXX defended" language, but I'm blanking on what card itt would be on. Hawkeye uses the fairly heavyweight "After combat, if he was the defender..." which doesn't seem ideal here.
