Hmm, that's a tough one. Technically, by rolling your using the power as it tells you that you can, but at the same time, it says nothing happens. That being said, I would say, yes, it does count as using the power because you rolled, thus; the result of that roll is inconsequential as to whether or not you used the power.

Also agreed. I'd be fine, balance-wise, with allowing you to activate a sidekick in that case, but by the reading of the power I'd definitely say you've "used" the power and therefore can't use a sidekick.

• A: No, it doesn't matter what the result of the roll was, simply making the roll means you are "using" Outcast Assault and therefore cannot activate any additional figures that turn.
