Wow that is a busy card design. Can't say I am a fan of the execution there.

Yeah, I like the fun name font, but the whole thing feels a bit distracting. I also personally really liked the blood red of the original card.

The pattern would probably work if you did it around the name and left box text kinda like I did on Captain Universe.

Orange feels more appropriate for the character. No issue switching back though.

Don't really love that personally, but the busyness critique is def. understandable.

Updated it with a smaller pattern approach and more transparency, both which help make it compete less with the fonts etc. as well as the red back.
