Kara is at the beach keeping a lookout while connecting with her school friends via social media. She snaps a picture of Rockstar and posts asking if anyone's parents have heard of his music career.

Just biding my time until we get to the party. I'm assuming Kara will be part of the undercover team, pretending to join.

So, uh, if it's cool and all, I'm going to go ahead and declare this one dead. It was a fun idea, but I think the system is just a bit too open-ended to play this way. I'm pretty much scratching my head on what to do at any given time and it's been moving pretty slowly and we seem to have made no progress in about two solid weeks, so I think we can probably fairly call it a wrap.

Fun attempt, I enjoyed it for a while there, but I'm ready to move on.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing for a while. I wouldn't mind giving it another try at some point. I might even been willing to give the DM role a try, but not for a while. Things are just starting to warm up around here and this seem more like a winter endeavor.

Co-GMing would be a mistake, I think.

I am sure there are campaign materials out there, or at least scenarios, that can be downloaded. Maybe purchased for a couple of bucks. World building from scratch is very difficult, and two people together trying to do the world building will make it harder, not easier.

I love DM'ing D&D 5E. And I think I'm pretty good at it, including play-by-post. But I also have a day job and other responsibilities, and I wouldn't try to build a world, or a bunch of scenarios, from scratch. It's much harder than it seems. In my experience, anyway.
