Post-game thoughts: Another win, but less of a close one. Korg didn’t do a ton of damage here, but he was vital in clogging up the enemy’s progress and soaking up attacks. He definitely had a big role in his team’s win.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I think he could use another slight bump. He’s solid enough as a straight stat block, and he’ll obviously get even better with a faction around him. Stone Force SA is especially strong when the rare moment comes when it’s set up properly.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Fun! I still think Stone Force feels like a bit of an odd thing for him to have, but it’s useful and enjoyable. He definitely feels like a solid start to the faction.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I’m not too sure on cost, he either trounces or he suffers, so it’s hard to tell. With no other Gladiators, he’s not draftworthy currently. Maybe there should be one more test, where we just take Hulk or Hercules and say they are Gladiators to see how well he does in a proper army and get a better idea on cost. Once he has options he might need a bump.
As for powers they all are engaging and see good use, so I’m not too worried about that. Stats are solid.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Korg really needs more Gladiators so hopefully we see them soon. Right now he’s kind of hard to build an army around, he probably would be best in a Star-Lord/Guardians army, but that would just be ignoring Warbound.

Xavier takes a turn with Deadpool. Humanite rolls MM and DP wounds Xavier for 1. Deadpool misses Clayface twice. Iceman takes a turn. MM wounds Xavier. Iceman hits Clayface for 2. Joker moves up and misses with WHA. Angel flies away and moves Deadpool. Xavier has DP move adjacent to Clayface and attacks Clayface, dealing 1. Iceman misses Manta.

Round 3: IJ marker removed. KI. Xavier has Korg miss Clayface. Clayface avoids an LEA from Korg, avoids having to hit DP instead, and finishes Angel, becoming a Charlatan. Xavier moves DP who targets UH. Deadpool wounds Uh for 4 and Iceman finishes him. Lex moves UH’s OM to Manta. Manta wounds Iceman for 1. Xavier has Iceman miss Manta and DP wounds him for 2. Joker moves and misses.

Round 4: IJ marker removed. KI. Joker moves two Oms from Xavier to Kitty. Xavier has DP miss Joker. Iceman is blocked. Manta Beams DP to low ground, takes high ground and hits him for 4. Kitty moves and misses Joker. Manta finishes DP. Kitty misses Joker. Joker moves and hits Iceman for 1 wound.

Round 5: Last IJ marker removed. KI. Two oms moved from Korg to Shadowcat. Korg misses Manta. Manta Beams Korg down and attacks. Korg rolls 3 less dice from that and Luthor. Manta rolls five skulls. Stan Lee pops in and stops it. Kitty moves and wounds Joker for 1. Clayface finishes Iceman and starts impersonating him. Kitty wounds Joker for 2. Joker is blocked by Kitty.

Round 6: LoDi. Manta attacks Korg and gets 1 wound from Rock Wall which was boosted from Stan. Korg finishes Manta. Om2 gone. Korg Stone Forces Luthor for 2 wounds. Clayface moves, finishes Stan, and impersonates him.

Round 7: LoDi. Clayface moves and hits Korg for 1 wound. Korg finishes Clayface. Om2 gone. Korg dodges an LEA and moves away. Om3 gone. Korg wounds Joker for 2 wounds.

Round 8: LoDi. Joker dies from an LEA. Korg moves toward Lex. Lex takes height and is blocked. Korg moves. Lex is blocked again. Korg finishes Lex

Notes: (Splash) - I mostly targeted the Mutants since they got double bonding. By the time I ran out of IJ markers I didn’t really have anyone strong enough to break Korg’s defense.

Firestar Microwaves Torch for 1 wound. All four. Torch takes an LEA, deals 2 to Cap, and 3 to Firestar. Firestar misses Torch.

Round 2: Ki. Cosmo pulls back Cap. Torch ends Firestar. Cap wounds Torch for 2 wounds. Stan blocks a killer blow on Cap from Thing. Korg moves up next to Stan and misses a tree. Thing finishes Cap and wounds Stan for 2.

Round 3: KI. Cosmo misses Reed. Sue eliminates Stan and Korg moves Meggan up. Cosmo is blocked. Cosmo stops this turn. Korg moves. Thing takes 1 wound LEA to wound Korg for 2 wounds and then wounds Thing 1 with RWD. Meggan moves next to IW with Warbound. Reed wounds Cosmo for 1.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I’m not too sure on cost, he either trounces or he suffers, so it’s hard to tell. With no other Gladiators, he’s not draftworthy currently. Maybe there should be one more test, where we just take Hulk or Hercules and say they are Gladiators to see how well he does in a proper army and get a better idea on cost. Once he has options he might need a bump.
As for powers they all are engaging and see good use, so I’m not too worried about that. Stats are solid.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Korg really needs more Gladiators so hopefully we see them soon. Right now he’s kind of hard to build an army around, he probably would be best in a Star-Lord/Guardians army, but that would just be ignoring Warbound.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Korg played really well for me, and stood his ground fairly well. Based on my tests, I believe he needs a point bump, but I'm not sure what would be reasonable. I could play Korg in an army without Gladiators and I believe he would perform fine. Really happy to see him in action

I want to make the Gladiators in a way that their defensive powers could potentially make up for that clear weakness. I want them to be melee fighters that would be considered tough, as that's what makes sense for the class and the individual characters.

So he performed decently individually, but went 0-3 in the initial, so we dropped him 10 points to see how he did in public testing. Seems like he did well, so many bump him back up that 10 points and call him good to go?
