Thanks, I do. My last picture here was that way, and so are many of the pictures in my battle reports.

It could partly be the lighting.

Thanks, KK. I remember looking at them in the blister pack and thinking they were monsters. I'm sure others have had that same response. I was mixing paints and stumbled across that olive color and realized it was perfect for a 'uniform' color.

After reading Justjohn's awesome new tutorial I realize I made a couple of significant mistakes, 1. using a base coat, which diminished sculpt detail, and 2. using Testors, which is too thick for miniatures. I already have a few acrylics, a few more (and some new brushes) and I'll be ready for the next project.
