What if he places the spent marker on the saved figure’s card, and you can only save figures without a marker on their card? Would that cause any problems? It would reduce the memory mechanic and seems to make some thematic sense. (Can a WL save another WL?)

I could see a future WL design being able to affect all figures with white Battery Markers, which would be cool interplay.
