12-1/2'' x 9-1/2'' is an envelope that is 12 1/2 inches along one side and 9 1/3 inches along the other (being and envelop it is flat, so no depth measurement. 1 inch is 2.54 cm.

The small box is: 8-5/8" wide, 5-3/8" tall, and 1-5/8" deep, or in cm: 21.9cm wide, 13.7cm tall, and 4.1cm deep
