Re: The Book of Bomb Queen ~ Public Testing
Freshfood's tests!
Real happy yet. Two losses, but bad rolls in the first game. I think a thing to consider is when you get full value out of her abilities, she basically costs 245 since you're bringing at least one squad of Civilians. 200 feels good to me yet.

Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview :
I wanted to run Bomb Queen in a lower point game. Her team has two heavy hitters with herself and Lizard, while Robot is there to facilitate some OM efficiency. The TMNT are a generally solid 700 army, so they should put up a good fight.
Damage Done (Normal Attack) : Used 1 times, inflicted 1 wounds.
Energy Bombs : Used 4 times, inflicted 0 wounds on opponents. Was used to take out civs for Demoralizing Sadism.
Demoralizing Sadism : Was used a decent amount to keep Bomb Queen alive, or help her Energy Bombs out.
Rocket Jump : Used 3 times, inflicted 1 wound.
ROUND 1 : Red Team initiative.
Red T1 : Robot carries Lizard forward.
Blue T1 : Mikey gets onto the road.
Red T2 : Bomb Queen moves in front of the ruins.

Red T3 : All 8 civilians move forward.
Blue T3 : Leo and Donny move up.
ROUND 2 : Blue Team initiative.
Blue T1 : Donny moves onto the road connected to the bridge, and throws Raph up on the bridge.
Red T1 : Bomb Queen rocket jumps but fails to kill the adjacent civilian. Scared of Raph, she just moves towards the other civilians.
Blue T2 : Raph moves to the front of the bridge.
Red T2 : Bomb Queen moves from behind the ruins and attacks Raph with Energy Bombs. No wounds.
Blue T3 : Leo and Mikey head under the bridge, towards Robot and Lizard.
Red T3 : Robot commands Lizard to meet Leo under the bridge and attack. No wounds.
ROUND 3 : Red Team initiative.
Red T1 : Staying on height, Lizard attacks Leo again. No wounds.
Blue T1 : Donny uses Staff Vault to cross the water and attack Robot. 1 wound.
Red T2 : Bomb Queen uses Rocket Jump but doesn't kill a civilian, so she just moves over 1 space to stay near Robot.
Blue T2 : Raph comes off the bridge and attacks Robot. A total of 6 wounds takes out Robot.
Red T3 : Was Robot.
Blue T3 : Leo leaps over Lizard and attacks him. No wounds. Mikey also fails to wound.

Red T2 : Bomb Queen jumps away from Donny but doesn't wound him.
Blue T2 : Raph leaps and takes out a civilian.

Blue T2: Leo leaps onto the bridge, and has Donny attack the adjacent civ.
Red T2 : Was Bomb Queen.
Blue T3 : Mikey kills the adjacent civ, and moves forward with Cowabunga.
Red T3 : Was Bomb Queen.
ROUND 7 : Blue Team initiative.
Blue T1: Mikey takes out the last civilian. TMNT wins!
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Donatello 2/4 Life, Leonardo 5/5 life, Raphael 3/4 Life, Michelangelo 4/4 Life.
Post-Game Thoughts : This was a rough one. Bomb Queen and her team just couldn't get anything going, while the turtles had great rolls the whole time. Bomb Queen just couldn't kill any civilians to start, and didn't have any luck actually wounding the turtles. I think this was primarily just a game of one team having great rolls, and the other one very much not.

Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview : I put a loooooot of units on the board for this one. I think Bomb Queen will be most useful having a constant stream of civilians to nuke, so I brought 4 squads of them. Since the ape army lacks range, Anarky’s Incite Riot should let me swarm them, and let Bomb Queen do some blasting on the warriors. Mikhlo will be scary if he can fight through the swarms and reach any of the heroes, but hopefully he won’t make it that far.

Red T1 : Bomb Queen Rocket Jumps away from Mikhlo and a civilian, killing the civilian.

Red T2 : Bomb Queen Rocket Jumps away from 2 warriors and a civilian, but doesn't kill any of them.
Blue T3 : 4 civlians get beaten down by warriors and Mikhlo.

Blue T3 : Solovar fails to wound Anarky.
ROUND 8 : On Turn 2, Solovar takes out Anarky with a full role of 4 skulls when Anarky whiffed. Blue team wins!
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Solovar 2/5 Life
Post-Game Thoughts : Super fun game. Things were looking rough for Bomb Queen's team, but she had a huge Energy Bombs that killed 4 warriors andturned the game around. It still wasn't enough, but she singlehandedly kept the game very competitive. I was worried that things were gonna be a steamroll, but it ended up being a very good showing by Bomb Queen.
Thoughts on the Tested Unit's Cost, Balance, and Draftability : I was initially feeling a little iffy on her costing 200, but I'm with it after testing her. She put in a fitting amount of work for a figure of that cost, and being a nice round price will help her draftability. She feels balanced because of how heavily setup based she is. To get her full potential, you want enemies grouped up, and spend a turn Rocket Jumping and killing one of your own figures in the process. If you do this stuff though, she is absolutely terrifying. She feels like shes mostly gonna need armies centered around her, to fully utilize her. However, she can go without Demoralizing Sadism and still be a solid special attacker.
General Thoughts on the Tested Unit : Bomb Queen is really neat. Game 1 was a bit of a wash since her whole team had such bad rolls, but I think game 2 was indicative of how she'll play. I think the idea of the character comes across very well with Rocket Jump and Demoralizing Sadism, while Energy Bombs is just a good special attack with great offensive potential. While she is a little setup heavy and doesn't have any real synergy, her kit has such a cool and effective synergy between the 3 powers that I've got no problem with her costing 200.
