The Manhunter chooses Batman to be hunted for now. Martian Manhunter makes a point and half-kills Star-Lord early, then Cyborg Superman comes to play. He’s rudely interrupted by Superman who swings by to receive a wound. Batman is targeted by Star-Lord but Superman intervenes once more and is wounded again. Martian Manhunter sends Atom onto Cyborg Superman’s card and orchestrates Star-Lord’s death, but Cyborg Superman gets angry and teams up with the Sinestro Corps Soldier to take out both Batman and Martian Manhunter in one round. The Soldier and Cap dodge lava damage, but Superman starts fighting back. He hits Atom off of Cyborg Superman’s card, but Cyborg Superman heals by destroying the nearby wounded Manhunter. Cyborg Superman and Captain America fend off some minor hits from Supermand and Cyborg ends up taking the game with a good punch.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Yellow Lantern (Cyborg Superman) w/ 3 wounds and ¾ battery markers, Sinestro Corps Soldier w/ 1 wound and 2/2 battery markers, Captain America (C3G) w/ 1 wound.

The Manhunters will seek Nightwing for now. Everybody gets moving early on in the game, but no damage occurs in round one. Krypto, Spoiler, and Superboy so some fancy turn shuffling so that Krypto can protect Superboy’s attempts to take out Cyborg Superman with his Special Attack. A Kryptonian duel ensues first with Cyborg taking out Krypto in one hit, then finishing off Superboy by the end of the round. It’s not free of charge though, as Superboy hits back for 3 wounds on Cyborg with his Special Attack, and one of the Manhunters is wounded to boot. Cyborg Superman takes over on of his Manhunters to heal but the Titans go off and kill two others. Starfire falls to Cyborg Superman, and he takes a lava hit. A few more rounds pass of misses left and right between Cyborg Superman, Nightwing, and Raven, but the Titans find their opening after not too long and the end is spelled for the lanterns.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Cyborg Superman is a powerhouse. His 7 attack is really strong in the right army. I was surprised at how well a Cap/Star-Lord army can be crafted with everything Hank needs to succeed (a Sinestro Corps for bonding and a Manhunter for healing). He is much less effective in an all Manhunter army but still has the potential to take a game by himself using Manhunters to heal and engage enemies to lock them down. He’s really scary in the right army so I would suggest a bump to 430 or 440.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: This guy is really interesting. He’s definitely not my favorite Yellow Lantern, and I don’t love how his battery markers are only used for a Special Attack that is generally weaker than his normal attack, but that’s just personal preference. The Special Attack does have its uses and it is nice that Hank’s stats don’t fall as he spends markers. Cybernetic Consciousness is really cool and the small buff to Manhunters is a nice touch.
