Castle Advice

Heroscape brothers, I need your help.

I recently acquired a second castle set. However, I am having trouble making balanced maps using the castle terrain. It seems that using the towers and...

Re: Agent Army Help!

That is a really solid army. I think it is the best option. With Krav and Nakita, it would could withstand a lot of attacks from range. You just have to hope that rat screen holds up as long as...

Re: RIP Michael Jackson

That is a horrible thing to say. You are saying that minors want to be molested by a fifty year old man. Think about that. That is disgusting, and you should be ashamed.

Agreed. Some of you have no class. Shameful.

RIP Michael.

Re: Unique Armies

Nilfhiem-185
Q9-180
Raelin-80
Tarn Viking Warriors- 50

495 points, 9 hexes

Only RotV and Raknar's Vision units. Really straightforward to play. Screen with the Vikings and then blast away...

Re: The General Wars Event

I think Cyprien is pretty weak in this event. Cyprien still gets ripped pretty badly by the 4th Mass, who should be all over this tourney. He's not the biggest fan of bonding squads either....

Re: The General Wars Event

Some more ideas....

:ullar:
Aubrien Archers x 3- 210
Venoc Vipers x 4- 160
Venoc Warlord-120

490 points, 22 hexes

It would play fast, and might need some lucky frenzies, but it could...

Re: Army help needed.

Stingers x 10?

It works out so perfectly for 600 points and 30 hexes.

Re: Army help needed.

I would go with army 3. I think army 2 would probably be the most competitive, but army 3 just looks so fun to play.

Re: Main event armies

That is a really strong army. The only tweak I might make is swapping out the Marro Warriors for another squad of reavers. It makes your rat screen alot stronger and saving ten points opens up alot...

Re: 510 Point Army Ideas

That is a pretty good orc army. The big problem I see though is that it takes up 29 hexes. Most tournaments have a 24 hex starting zone limit so you would have to lose 5 figures, probably an entire...

Re: Why I Want to Play in a 530 Point Tournament...

That looks like a devastating army. Probably the best at 530 using wave 9. Some other wave 9 options...

Mohican River Tribe x 3- 210
Aubrien Archers x 2- 140
Venoc Warlord- 120
Brave Arrow- 50...

Re: Main event armies

I really like alot of the Minions of Utgar armies floating around so I thought I would try my hand...

Minions x 3- 330
Atlaga- 90
RotV Raelin- 80

500 points, 11 hexes

Not the most...

Re: 500 point army critique

I like the core of Kaemon and Cyprien. Those are two solid heroes. I would probably take out Brunak, as their is no lava on the map, and no one who really needs to be carried. I would also take...

Re: 525 point armies

Captain America- 220
Deathreavers x 3- 120
Syvarris- 100
Zetacron- 60
Isamu- 10
Otonashi- 10

520 points, 18 hexes

Pretty straight forward army. Screen with the rats while a boosted zeta...

Re: Capuan Gladiator Discussion Thread

I think I found out why your steam roller failed. You aren't rolling enough dice. Crixus should be inspired by Spartacus and thus rolling four defense. If you don't give your gladiators the...

Re: Capuan Gladiator Discussion Thread

I think the gladiators definetly encourage larger point totals. 500 is the minimum at which they become really competitive. I think 660 would be their ideal size, to include all 3 heroes and four...

Re: Capuan Gladiator Discussion Thread

The glad/blast have the advantage over the MRT because they have more attacks per turn. That is exactly why the gladiators have an advantage over the wolves. You may get more pieces with a wolf army,...

Re: Capuan Gladiator Discussion Thread

Reasons the Steamroller build is better than the wolves x 5 with Khosumet, and Marro Warriors at 500 points.

1. The wolves have 3 attacks with an average of 3.85 dice per attack. The gladiators...

Re: Capuan Gladiator Discussion Thread

This is all theory, but I don't think the Omnicron's have a change against the Steamroller. With three attacks of 4 and an attack of 6 every turn the gladiators will mow down repulsors before you...

Re: Capuan Gladiator Discussion Thread

First, these guys have awesome sculpts. The best in the wave.

Second, they have awesome stats and abilities. Three attacks of four and an attack of 6 every turn is huge. The best in the wave.

Re: Capuan Gladiators - what's your army idea?

GenCon main event army...

Capuan Gladiators x 3- 210
Spartacus- 200
Crixus- 90

500 points, 11 hexes

At 575, add another set of Capuan Gladiators
At 600, add Retiarus and Isamu

I have played "Island Conflict" and "Mole Hills-Jungle Edition" now. They both provided great, balanced gameplay. Thanks for making and sharing them.

Re: dok's maps - updated 5/30

The helix series looks amazing. They are the first maps that make me want to buy the fortress. It definetly looks like they would provide some unique game play. Well done.
