Re: A_Train's Pictured Battle Reports / Predict the Victor

6-1 Noooo my first loss. :duh: Knew I shouldn't of gone against A-Train.

For this matchup I'll take my chances with Patrick again because he has Q9.

Re: A_Train's Pictured Battle Reports / Predict the Victor

6-0 :headbang:

Once again, I used any of these figures, but I think Patrick made some good choices, Synergy units minus the synergy so I'll go with him this time.

Re: A_Train's Pictured Battle Reports / Predict the Victor

5-0 :D
Once again I don't have many of these figures (Nelfeim, Q9 and Jotun) So I will go with A_Train again.

Re: A_Train's Pictured Battle Reports / Predict the Victor

4-0 The when the snipers started killing the dividers I was worried, then I thought Hey, doesn't he still have Drake? Even though he wasn't needed.

This matchup is tricky, but I think the shades...

Re: A_Train's Pictured Battle Reports / Predict the Victor

3-0 Marros win....what? It seems I've missed a couple battles.

As for this one... Snipers vs. Drake+Dividers, Drake dodges all the shots, slaughters the snipers, dividers divide and are going to...

Re: A_Train's Pictured Battle Reports / Predict the Victor

2-0 Yay

Hmmm... I like the marro synergy but I'm still not all that sure the drones will do that well....

I'll go with A_Train again.

Re: How century old tactics can be used in heroscape

Unfortunatly I think uproar would fail badly in heroscape, having to divert order markers would make your army a sitting duck and they would get trampled

Wedge could work, but I think blade gruts...

Re: I Need Opinions!

I hope you realize that system is ridiculously unbalanced and gives your side a huge advantage. For me something like that would detract from the fun of the game. I would think about changing it if I...

Re: Marvel vs. Vipers

I think Marvel would crush the guards. At least with the vipers it's close, but the guards without frenzy and only having 78 guards it wouldn't even be close.

As for the drudges, that would be...

Re: Do You Have a Problem Looking at a Symmetrical Map?

No, I prefer symetrical map, mainly because when me and my brother play it's 'Fair', but some do find them boring to play on and prefer non-symetrical maps.

Re: Marvel vs. Vipers

On flat ground, it breaks down pretty easily.

Vipers do an average of a little over a third of a wound per attack, and die about half the time to counterstrike. They attack about four times per...

Re: Qs=Deathwalkers 2.0

But they DON'T have different ideas behind them, they are both supposed to be hard-to-kill units, Q9 is just improved because he has more than 1 life.

Qs=Deathwalkers 2.0

First we had deathwalker 9000, with an epic 9 defense he seemed unbeatable, but then he quickly ran into a problem, 1 life. A lucky roll would send that 140 points down the drain. leaving people...

Re: How do you build your hives and glaciers into your maps?

Don't have glaciers, but I would build them into the map. Usually I build maps without usuing the hives, but when I use them I build them into the map, surrounded by swamp water.

Re: D&D Heroscape Information Thread

That is because the set is designed for a purpose other than our usual symmetrical map deathmatches. It was designed to imitate a kind of dungeon crawl, obviously different from the way of playing...

Re: D&D Heroscape Information Thread

I've been trying to build a VS map with the DnD set, it's so hard because most terrain comes in 1 or 3s. (It's almost as if they want force us to buy multiple sets...)
