The Book of Red Skull
The Book of Red Skull C3G MARVEL WAVE 5 WORLD'S VILEST The figure used for this unit is a Heroclix figure from the Avengers set. Its model number and name are #032 / Red Skull. NOTE: C3G Red Skull requires 1x Glyph of Cosmic Cube _________________________________________________________________Character Bio - "Dissatisfied with the standard drill instruction his subordinates used to train Schmidt, Hitler took over personally, and trained Schmidt as his right-hand man. Upon completion, Hitler gave Schmidt a unique uniform with a grotesque red skull mask, and he emerged as the Red Skull for the first time. His role was the embodiment of Nazi intimidation, while Hitler could remain the popular leader of Germany. To that end, The Red Skull was appointed head of Nazi terrorist activities with an additional large role in external espionage and sabotage. He succeeded, wreaking havoc throughout Europe in the early stages of World War II. The propaganda effect was so great that the United States government decided to counter it by creating their own equivalent using the one recipient of the lost Project Rebirth, Steve Rogers, as Captain America. "The two counterparts soon clashed for the first time (...) The Red Skull and Captain America continued to engage in a series of skirmishes throughout the war, ending with a final battle that left the Skull buried under the rubble of a bombed building. Exposed to an experimental gas as the building collapsed, he remained there in suspended animation for decades along with a couple of henchmen. "Johann was eventually rescued and revived from suspended animation in modern times by the terrorist organization, AIM. The Skull quickly subverted a cell to his own ambitions of world conquest and the death of Captain America. He stole the Cosmic Cube after taking control of its Keeper's mind, and revealed that he gave Zemo the order to steal the bomb plane that led to Bucky's death. Schmidt fought Captain America again for the first time in years, but was defeated and fell of a cliff while trying to get the Cosmic Cube," (www.wikipedia.org) ________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

Re: The Book of C3G Red Skull - Design Phase
NAME = RED SKULL
SECRET IDENTITY = JOHANN SCHMIDT SPECIES = CLONE UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = MASTERMIND PERSONALITY = RUTHLESS SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 5 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 5 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = 250 COSMIC CUBE Start the game with the Glyph of Cosmic Cube on this card. DUAL LUGERS SPECIAL ATTACK Range 5. Attack 4. When Red Skull attacks with his Dual Lugers Special Attack, he may attack one additional time. MASTER MOTIVATOR After taking a turn with Red Skull, if he inflicted one or more wounds with his normal attack this turn, you may take an immediate turn with any other Unique Hero you control within clear sight of Red Skull, and you may not take any additional turns with other figures you control. Guess I'll need to see that before I can comment. ;)

Re: The Book of C3G Red Skull - Design Phase
Without seeing the Cosmic Cube, I really can't comment on too much, but as he is, he's no where close to 275 points. His Master Motivator is cool, but he's going to have to be adjacent to make the attack and we'll see how easy that is to pull off, but when you do, it certainly will be cool. Perhaps with the HYDRA Agent bonding, he will be able to get a nice screen to get adjacent to an opponent's figure and then inflict a wound and then have Madame HYDRA or BVS take a turn. That would be a nasty chain.

Re: The Book of C3G Red Skull - Design Phase
Is there a reason that Dual Lugers needs to be a special attack? It seems like normal pistols should get height advantage, they do in most other cases.
|
Re: The Book of C3G Red Skull - Design Phase
The only reason was that I had wanted his Normal Attack to be higher than the official figure, since he is Cap's clone. The intent was that his pistol's were not as powerful as his Super-Soldier cloned fists.

I'd say he's probably closer to 250 (and this is knowing what's on his Cosmic Cube ... I think. :-) ). |
Re: The Book of C3G Red Skull - Design Phase
Hmmm ... there may be some power activation order issues with Master Motivator, though. I wonder if we can't add a little clarity?
MASTER MOTIVATOR If Red Skull inflicts one or more wounds with his normal attack, after taking that turn with Red Skull, you may take one additional turn with one Unique Hero you control that is within clear sight of Red Skull. Not in love with that yet ... but I think it at least clarifies that the new turn doesn't start until Red Skull's is completely over (so any powers that would activate due to his attack would be resolved). |

MASTER MOTIVATOR
After taking a turn with Red Skull, if he inflicted one or more wounds with his normal attack this turn, you may take one additional turn with one Unique Hero you control that is within clear line of sight of Red Skull. |

Could something like this work? Quote:

Re: The Book of C3G Red Skull - Design Phase
We should change that to "clear sight" instead of "clear line of sight." No reason Red Skull should have to see the figure's hitzone in order to activate this power. :-)

Better? :)
