LEAPING ASSAULT
After moving and before attacking, if Kon-Tar-Na moved less than 4 spaces, he may use Leaping Assault. Choose an opponent's figure within 3 clear sight spaces and place Kon-Tar-Na on any unoccupied space adjacent to the chosen figure. Kon-Tar-Na may not move more than 7 levels up or down using Leaping Assault. If Kon-Tar-Na is engaged when he starts his Leaping Assault, he will take any leaving engagement attacks.

TASTE OF BLOOD
Once per turn, after attacking, if Kon-Tar-Na destroyed an opponent's figure, you may attack one additional time with Kon-Tar-Na. Before the additional attack you may use his Leaping Assault special power.
The figure used for this unit is a Confrontation miniature. The name of the figure is Dasyatis Prime.

-Rulings and Clarifications-

Q: Can Kon-Tar-Na use Leaping Assault due to Taste of Blood if he moved more than 4 spaces on his turn?
A: Yes.

Q: If Kon-Tar-Na destroys a Goblin Cutter with an attack, do you Scurry before or after Taste of Blood?
A: Scurry first.
Scurry is directly triggered by the attack; you check for Taste of Blood after the attack action and all triggered effects complete.

Q: If Kon-Tar-Na chooses not to attack a second time with Taste of Blood, can he still use Leaping Assault after the first attack?
A: No.
If Kon-Tar-Na uses Leaping Assault due to Taste of Blood, he must follow that movement with an attack if possible.

Power Ranking and Master Index
Pretty dependent on hitting his first kill to get those double attacks. High mobility is great but the nagrubs can struggle to keep up if he’s your only Hivelord. B+

As someone with a relentless personality, he also benefits from Khosumet (Relentless Assault) and aids the Knights of Blackgaard (Relentless Army Attack Bonus).

You may want to change it to Kon-Tar-Na under ORNAK: Red Flag of Fury....... It's currently listed as Wo-Sa-Ga.

I'm excited to use this guy. I love the look and design. Great job.

Does this figure go on a large round base or a peanut base?

D&D-style large single spaced base.

C3V/SoV Marro are tragically (albeit unavoidably) rare, so this guy is a real treat. I believe he is also the second Marro hero to lack a D20 power, after Tul-Bak-Ra, which is interesting.
His abilities are solid and thematic, but I have to wonder why he needs to destroy an opponent's figure to activate Taste of Blood--the option of destroying a friendly squad figure in order to reach an opponent's hero seems like it would increase his versatility without becoming overpowered, and would even fit his Relentless personality. Quibbles aside, Kon-Tar-Na seems really fun, and I eagerly look forward to his arrival at my house.

@Dark Stranger :
The Combo with Deathreavers could have been really impressive !! Like you spread your rats, than use them as Jumping spots for Kon-Tar-Na. And every time you do it, you can use Scatter..! Feels like a cool tandem, but I suspects that it could be a little too strong. ^^

Thankfully, you can't trigger scatter by attacking your own units.

Being able to trigger Taste of Blood by attacking your own units would be thematic/reasonable in retrospect, although ultimately I don't think it would be useful all that often.

Re: The Book of Kon-Tar-Na

KTN really does not like to be engaged. Because he's required to use Leaping Assault for his second after-figure-destruction move, and because Leaping Assault triggers a disengage from all figures he's engaged with, if KTN wants to move at all on his after-figure-destruction move, he has to take LEAs from every figure next to him. This makes it pretty hard for KTN to pull off his "kill a figure from low ground, climb up and take its spot on height" combo, if your opponent is aware of this interaction and engages KTN with two or three figures while he is still on low ground.

Kon-Tar-Na is definitely going up there in my top five favorite C3V/SoV units! He's a blast to play with Death Knights, and they way his figure works is very fun! Great design, looking forward to running him in an upcoming tournament!

Hahah, now I know what you're bringing. I can counter you.

Not really though. I've had the idea for my army planned for this one for over a month now.
