With today being the 1 year anniversary of the announcement of the cancellation of HeroScape, I figured I would look back at my just over 2 years here on the site:
When I first joined, I didn't contribute much and I didn't find my niche on the site until I got involved in C3G. I now post over 16 times a day steadily bring up my posts per day.
I have earned 4 badges: Site Supporter, C3G Customs, C3V Customs, and Moderator (my latest). And a title. I have earned a yellow OM for my rep, a long way away from the red OM I had right after I joined the site. I won the first Weekly Giveaway here and have given back to the site and it's members.
By far my biggest achievement and what keeps me around on the site is C3G. I love the people, the process, and the designs. Members like Griffin, IAmBatman, A3n, Hahma and many others have helped me improve my design skills and challenge me to produce the best designs I can. I stumbled into the group not...

This Saturday I graduated from TAG Academy, after 12 years of homeschooling. This fall I will be attending High Point University to major in Graphic Design and Business. I am very excited.
For graduation my parents gave me an iPad 2, I look forward to getting that cause everywhere around here is out of stock. I have also been saving for a while and I finally have enough money to buy the MacBook Pro I have been wanting.
I am now enjoying my last summer with my friends and preparing for college and I am EXCITED.

Well with HeroScape dead, it is now up to the community to keep HeroScape alive. I see three big contenders manifesting in the coming days. All of which work well together.
Have a good custom that needs some help? The Classic HeroScape Creators Guild 24hrs (CHCG24) is the place to go. There we edit customs to near perfect. We focus mostly on the wording of cards and the theoryscaping of the cost. When we have the card finalized it takes 3 or from people who have been actively commenting on the card to stamp the card. You can see the cards that have completed this process in the CHCG24 Display Thread. This process mirrors the MarvelScape NM24.
Have a perfect custom that you have playtested many times? Nominate it in the Soldiers of Valhalla (SoV). (Only nominate a card you have played multiple times.) Here we will have a panel of judges that will look at a custom and vote on weither to review it or not. If chosen for review, judges...

Recently I took a trip to tour High Point University. I went into it not sure what to think, I had never heard of the school, and already had my mind set on Appalachian State University.
High Point impressed me from the moment we drove up, they had the LED signs with different peoples names on them and one of them had
"tcglkn (My real name was here)
North Carolina"
Just for signing up for a tour, they put my name on a parking spot, thats a pretty big investment in potential students right there.
Every where we went on the tour was amazing, they have a state of the art communications building which is just amazing. The dorms were like apartments, they even had some dorm rooms (suite style) that had double beds.
One of the things that impressed me the most was the President of the schools dedication to giving back to the school. He went to the school and now he is a famous motivational speaker. Being a...

I just wanted to take a second to boast on myself. I just finished my first C3G design.
Green Lantern (Kilowog)
I'm really excited about that. Getting involved in the C3G has been one of the best things I've done on this site. It's a really cool group of people and we have fun creating pretty awesome customs. If you haven't heard of us check us out here.
