The Divided City!

This Map was produced by tearing down Sacrifice! to the Sand, and rebuilding. It was inspired, in part, by my vague impressions of an old comic book Conan story, post-Howard I believe, concerning a city-sized temple with 2 factions at war for generations, while, at the same time, hiding from some hideous monster behind their respective gates. If anyone remembers it, and can tell me its name, or can come up with a better name and/or a scenario for it, I'd appreciate it.

Shurrak's Doppelganger!Well met!
chas called to ask me why there were two Shurraks on the Map. For some reason (undoubtedly another of the many loose connections in my brain), because I own two Shurraks, I thought they were Common Heroes. chas, rightly, pointed out that, as he has a proper name, he's probably Unique. (chas, unlike yours truly, doesn't have all the cards' contents at his mental fingertips.) |

I assumed they'd (the Shurraks) be part of the scenario. Coming to life when a glyph trap is sprung. That way it doesn't matter if they're unique as they should charge the nearest character.

Looking good. Wondering how the Shurraks could throw anyone into the Lava hex from the roof, though...ah, I see--that's a hole in the center. Otherwise, how could you maneuver figures inside?

Nice scenario, i agree that they should change the nearest character but i enjoyed reading Conan story a lot.
